There's nothing to grip to take the lid off. There's a two part lid. The brown plastic wood like ring and a white plastic inside lid that includes the (blue colored) peak. When you do manage to get the lids off condensation drips all over the place and any leftover oil has a tendency to get on your fingers which will burn if you then touch your eyes or mouth. The reservoir lasts about 6 hours and is always off when I wake up in the morning. It does turn off when its depleted. And just in case you couldn't tell, it does change colors. There's a button that will allow you to choose the color or you can turn it off completely. One of the choices is for it to cycle all of the colors. I leave it off most of the time. I don't need one more glowing object in my bedroom to keep me up.

I bought this back on October 27th 2018. I have used it all of 5 times and now it makes for a nice night light, but the diffuser does not work. I get that it is only $10, but I expected it to have more than just 3 months and a handful of uses out of it. However, I wrote the company about what happened and they sent me a replacement product. Very fair seller.

Seems like a good little diffuser. I love the light feature, it is very small so the only issue is that it will only work in a small area(not enough output). But all in all I’m happy. I have only had it a few days, hopefully it lasts longer than the last one I purchased on amazon

Works great but feels and looks cheap. If it were a gift, I’d return it. But it’s for me and works so I’m not going to worry about it. White plastic had a greasy feel. Pic shows matching light on top, circle, and around buttons. Circle is black and buttons are lighted green and red.

This is a very nice diffuser. It's fairly small so it doesn't take up a huge amount of space. It looks nice. There are a couple different settings and the colored lights are very relaxing.It only takes a couple drops of good quality essential oil to fill your room with your favorite scent! It starts emitting vapor as soon as you turn it on! No waiting! This is a very nice little unit at a very reasonable price!A great gift idea!

This is a nice diffuser for the most part. The only reason I didn't rate it higher is that it is a bit tricky to open at first & to master the different settings. Otherwise it works very well, looks nice & is not expensive.

I am loving this little diffuser! It works perfectly and now my entire house smells amazing with the oils! I do plan on ordering more to put in the bedrooms to diffuse night time oils. I definitely recommend.

The diffuser is very small but it still moisturizes the air and the water doesn't evaporate too fast. When it comes to lighter smells I tend to have to add extra oil but that's to be expected. It is easy to knock over so beware of that. Don't expect it to make a huge room smell like the scent of choice, the price is great for what this little thing has to offer.
