Plastruct AR-4H Clear Rod1/8 30 PLS90292 Plastic Building Supplies

I bought these with the purpose of using for 28mm scale miniatures to give the effect as if they're flying or suspended above the base. These are not sold in any craft stores like Hobby Lobby or Michael's, local game stores, or Wal-Mart. Crystal clear and sturdy for 1/8th, I will purchase again when needed.

I bought these to create a flying effect with some of my Warhammer 40k Space Marines with Jump Packs. They glue well with regular super glue from the dollar store. They cut easily with a basic fine tooth jeweler saw. They worked well with both plastic models and the old metallic models and created a very cool look.

This type of acrylic was perfect for the project that I had in mind. It was easy to work with, and sold by an excellent seller who got it out to me very quickly. I would buy from this very highly recommended seller again, and again. If you need this smaller size of acrylic rod, then this is the seller for you, and the perfect type of rod as well. I use these for cake toppers. I prefer them over wooden skewers.

Good quality, uniform size. The end cuts are jagged so you will need to clean them up with a belt sander. The length is not mentioned in the product description, but they are 9 inches long. Taking one star away due to the end cuts and the failure to add the length to the description.

Used as a "light pipe" to make LED visible outside a project box. Easy to cut with a large wire cutter. Sandpaper the ends if you get a rough cut.
