Bioethanol burner stainless steel combustion chamber about 1.5 L including slide & ceramic sponge

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this product as the chimney in my property was not usable. Then a friend introduced me to a bioethanol fire and I couldn’t wait to try. It is odourless, smokeless and looks amazing. It really warms a room and gives a cosy feel. Really very pleased with it.The packaging could have been better, Thats my only grumble.Love love love it!

The design and look is nice, it's sturdy and fits into place nicely. Holds a good amount of Bioethanol and can burn up to 7 hours if used with the slider slightly open. The heat output is great.Only thing that marks it down is the slider itself. Because bioethanol evaporates if not used, the slider does not seal the reservoir properly, so you will lose fuel. Because of the slider I recommend you use the amount you want to use, usually 250ml can give up to 2 hours burn time which is great, but annoying you have to keep refilling before every use.If the company can made some adjustments to ensure the slider can close off properly, I'd happily get another.

It's a single skin, reflected in the price, but I have an old oven tray below for safety. I made a coffee table with wood thrown out after a shop refit and two slate flooring tiles. Burner sits on perlite for insulation in the oven tray, the top plate just proud of the slate, cut to fit so no contact else the slate would heat up. It's a sturdy piece to take knocks without moving/spilling.Had it just under a year and very pleased with the low cost bespoke fire. Fuel can be expensive but you can't beat a real flame and the only option when you don't have a chimney or flue.

Ordered this item thinking it would be well made as it‘s of German construction- apparently. What a misconception; the metal is discoloured and badly welded, the slider does not work and is badly fitted and it is considerably smaller than advertised. I would even go so far as to say it would be possibly hazardous to use. I would not risk it.Now I have the inconvenience of waiting for a refund and for the courier to collect it. I have no idea when this is likely to happen. Avoid at all cost.

Very pleased with purchase which we have used on occasions indoors within our fireplace. This was intended initially to create ambiance but, have to say, it did produce a fair amount of heat, with no smell and was very effective. Down side to this was we found it used quite a bit of fuel but if monitored, would serve well as a permanent feature. All in all, pleased with purchase.

Auf einer Messe kam uns die Idee: einen Keramikofen ODER in unserem Fall einen vorhandenen Ofen mit Brenneinsatz betreiben. Da wir zur Miete wohnen, war das einen Versuch wert.Wir haben unseren Gartenkamin aus Metall ins Wohnzimmer gestellt und genießen nun das wärmende Feuer und die romantische Optik eines offenen Kamins ohne bauliche Umbaumaßnahmen.Vorteile: wärmt sehr schnell, durchaus sparsamer Verbrauch (ca. 1 l am Abend bei schmaler Flamme, also ca. 2 €), schönes breites Flammenbild, einfach zu regulieren, günstiger Preis, Verarbeitung scheint gut zu sein (Schweißnähte). Wenn wir den ganzen Tag außer Haus sind, regeln wir die Heizung runter, superschnell ist unser riesiges Wohnzimmer aufgewärmt.Nachteil: der schmale Kasten lässt sich nicht wirklich schön befüllen (kaum aus einem großen Kanister, ich schalte eine Gießkanne mit langem Ausgießer dazwischen und befülle in der Küche über dem Waschbecken).Abzuwarten bleibt, wie sich die Watte-Lage weiter entwickelt, die innen hinter einer Art Gitter zu sehen ist. Die obere Lage ist schon verkokelt, austauschen geht nicht. Vielleicht braucht man das gar nicht, dann frage ich mich, warum ich riskieren muss, dass das Material (Fieberglas???) verbrennt und evtl. Dämpfe freigibt?Insgesamt würde ich es sofort wieder kaufen, ist einfach schön, dieser "offene Kamin" ohne große Umbaumaßnahmen.

Le dimensioni dichiarate su Amazon sono tutte, ma proprio tutte, diverse da quelle reali ! La piastra superiore non è 32,5 x 14 ma 32 x 15. La vasca non è 25 x 9,5 x 6,5 ma 30 x 13 x 6. La feritoia non è 23 x 3,5 ma 22 x 3. Ci può stare che le caratteristiche del prodotto possano cambiare nel tempo, ma è buona norma per le dimensioni dichiarare quelle corrette, poichè incidono sulla concreta impiegabilità del prodotto. Nel mio caso sarò costretto a farmi allungare di diversi centimetri il vano nel caminetto dove avevo progettato di alloggiarlo, cosa che mi costerà tanto quanto mi è costato l'oggetto

The media could not be loaded.  Je suis vraiment ravie de mon achat. Belles flammes, pas d'odeur, longue durée. Un beau feu d'ambiance. Un seul point négatif: il n'est indiqué nulle part si l'éponge a combustible peut être changée. Et en fait quand on voit l'objet, on comprend vite que c'est impossible. Après avoir posé la question sur un forum, il s'avère qu'elle serait "inusable" ce dont je doute. Sinon pourquoi vendre des éponges à combustible à part. Ce qui signifierait qu'une fois l'éponge usée, on devrait jeter toute la chambre à combustion? Et cela après combien d'utilisations? Ce serait vraiment dommage et du beau gaspillage car le résultat final est très beau.
