Bolt - The Smartest Safe

This safe a is a great way to safely secure items and give yourself or others access with no keys. With my kids always forgetting there keys...I could secure them in the WiFi enabled safe and remotely give them access or they can access it themselves via there phone. I have had others check my home for me while I was away and giving them access via the WiFi safe. Works great!

Having alot of issues connecting the device. Placed new batteries in and was working fine, the next day tried connecting to wifi and it won't come on at all. Plastic outside which would seem very easy to break into.

... to get rid of many bugs and imperfections. I do not understand how a safebox can be made of plastic. The idea of a portable safebox is of course a commendable one, but it defies the whole purpose of a safety box - protecting the content from being stolen. One could simply steal the whole box as those wings do not do much of a protecting. Yes it does have shock and movement detection, but what good does it do if there is no WIFI network present or is badly covered. It would be much better to make this box a "NONPORTABLE" steel housing that you could bolt to a concrete wall. This box is in my opinion NOT meant as a portable safebox (would you really pack it in a suitcase or backpack, take it to a plane and a hotel room somewhere halfway across the globe, only to have your passport, bank cards and pricy watch stolen together with the safe...?) This box really is good only for items that have to be under controlled access i.e. out of reach of children etc , but still easily accessible to other (like medicine to elderly people)... But even a kid can take a flat screwdriver and pry the door open.I wanted to use this box as a carkey distribution point for my employees. The trustworthy ones could take carkeys when needed, to the other ones I could give access over the internet when the need would arise. The concept is still to be worked out, but at the moment this is still the best solution I could find on the market.The software will improve as I was promised, with most of the present shortcomings fixed and/or implemented. There is also a 3 times bigger steel box "announced" to hit the market in a year or two. Let us wait and see. The size of this box is perfect for my needs, just the material is not.

This safe is great and easy to use…. The only down side is the material. I wish it was made of a stronger material. I feel like I could easily pry this safe open without a struggle. The WiFi feature is great. I love that it can be opened remotely from anywhere.

The app is no longer available so you have to download the Motorola app which comes up when you do the search for "ikeyp app" everything connected pretty smoothly and seems the work just fine.

This is really well made. It won't stop anyone who is absolutely determined to get in it perhaps, but otherwise it is just perfect for keeping meds and other potentially dangerous things away from young people. The Wi-Fi feature is really nice too. Just a great product and well worth the money!

Below one star. This will not connect to the internet. Instructions are worthless. Does not work. Do not waste your time or money!

Stopped working after about 1 month.And Awful support -phone line goes straight to voicemail and email support does not answer tickets submitted. They claim to answer questions within 24hrs but doesn’t seem like anyone actually works there
