I read the mixed reviews and was concerned if mine would stop working. It has NOT stopped working!! I have made sure that the water level does not go below the white filter insert! I like that this diffuser can be adjusted to different angles. (unfortunately in my vehicle, the car lighter is right inbetween my 2 cupholders, so it gets in the way when I chose to use it and have a drink there too....not the fault of the product). When I use the difuser I normally use the intermittent setting and even then, sometimes I shut it off and on because it can be overpowering (doTERRA oils used). I wish there was a 3rd slower setting so I wouldn't have to mess with it once I have it plugged in and on. Also, I wish the filter wasn't needed, because I feel that there is always residue from previous oil used, when switching oils. Item works great though. Would buy again most likely.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I received this product however this is what I have found. A sweet little aromatherapy humidifier for my car ... I add a little bit of pure water, not from the tap but rather distilled water, and a few drops of my favorite lavender oil, and my drive to and from work is not only hydrated but it’s also relaxing What an ingenious little invention Whoever came up with this idea was either Krazy, brilliant, or tired of smelling old car scent. Every time I get into the car to go to work I use this delightful little device. Since I have the control over the amount of aromatherapy oil’s I put into the receptacle I am able to control the strength of the fragrance that is being disbursed into my car Love love love this product

I love the idea of freshening my car with the same essential oils I use in my home! This humidifier was a little larger than I expected, I have limited room in front of my cig lighter, but I was able to make it work. The button is easy to locate and three push options. Off, continuous and intermittent. I like that it has an intermittent option that releases mist with a five second break, especially if your oil is strong. I would like to see an even longer break in the mist cycle time. My power to my cig lighter does stay on when I turn the car off, so I just make sure it's off before I leave the vehicle. Overall I am happy with this product.

12/31/2018 UPDATE: After having this for a few weeks, it completely died. It will not turn on anymore. I would not recommend this to anyone because of it's short life span.I put this in my wife's van, and ran it all day while running around town. It is very quiet and it creates a stream of cool mist, around 8-10 inches high. We added a few drops of essential oil to the water, but I think when I fill the reservoir up next time, I'll put a few more drops because we couldn't smell it. But, to put some moisture in the car significantly helped (we live in Utah and we're in the cold, winter right now). The "power switch" is a touch sensitive "power symbol" on the top of the unit. There is a red LED to tell you it is off, and while it is running, the LED is blue (all are behind the plastic bezzle) which gives it a clean look, and no obstructions to draw your kid's attention to turn it off/on. The LED's are bright enough to see in clear daylight, but not so bright at night to distract or annoy you.The only (very minor) draw back I have is because our van completely disables power throughout the entire car when it is off. So I have to manually turn the humidifier back on each time I want to use it. But, that's a good thing so it doesn't drain the car's battery (so no fault to the seller/manufacturer). Otherwise, this humidifier works very well for putting some moisture & and scent into the car.

Long drives in the winter are hard because of the dryness. This helps a lot, but it doesn't last very long since it only holds a small amount of liquid. It's hard to refill in a moving car and definitely impossible to refill if you're alone (don't try to haha). I drop some essential oils in it to to help me stay awake/breathe easier. The connection to the car is a little iffy, you might need to push it in or wiggle it every once in a while but this is a functioning car humidifier and that's all I can ask for.

Tired of that super dry air in the cold winter? This fixes that!Tired of your car smelling like must and farts? This fixes that!Tired of not seeing a cool looking mist that will impress your friends? This fixes that!In all seriousness, this thing is awesome. It works as it should. A drop or two of essential oil will make it produce an enjoyable scent, even after 3 or 4 refills.The light indicating if it is on/off is impossible to see in the daytime, but if that makes you upset, then you're literally just looking for a reason to complain. If mist is coming out, you know it's on.This would be worth the price even if you couldn't put essential oil in it. The humidity alone just makes a car ride in the winter feel so much better. Your eyes and nose will no longer feel all dried out whilst driving.

Absolutely love this little thing. First off, people whining about it not lasting long enough...it only holds like 2oz of water, what do you expect. Put it on the diffuser setting where it runs on an "on/off" pattern and it'll run for over an hour. On the humidifier setting it probably wont last long, but I got it strictly for the diffuser use so it doesn't bother me. Gave it a 3 star because the little led that is suppose to identify what setting your on doesn't work on mine, but that's the only thing and doesn't affect anything else.
