Bought this for a seasonal cabin. Installs well, makes clean good tasting water. Bought mine from Menards for $40. This price is way high.

Was advertised as slightly damaged. We could not find any flaw. Product discontinued. Worked great for our purpose. Great Amazon service.

This was a replacement filter for an older model Omni Filter. The instructions appeared simple, but I was unable to install the filter because I could not lock the fittings onto the water line which mean that the filter leaked. The instructions gave no details regarding the best way to make certain the filter was properly locked in.

So far, so good! Bought 10 months ago and all OK. You don't have to shut off the water to change this filter and that's a big advantage.

3/4" input closed down to 1/4" internally doesn't allow for enough flow. Bought another filter that was 3/4" internally for more GPM.

I installed the water filter two weeks ago and have had no problems with it so far. It was very easy to install.

As I write this I have a very small amount of drippinig, hope it stops. Leaking at both inlet and outlet.The bracket they supplied did not fit very well. This U shape bracket does not stop the filter housing from rotating in the direction of the inlet and outlet. This rotation if moved while installing the filter causes one fitting to loosen or tighten this will cause a leak when using NPT threading. Poor design, the better design is to fasten the housing to the wall that holds it rigid in all directions. Buy one that mounts to the wall and also mounts to the top of the filter housing. I never understand how companies put someting into production with a poor design. The metal bracket supplied did not make sense on how to install relative to the copper fittings used to plumb to filter housing. I bought this one because the housing cup was clear.
