I was not sure what to expect buying a mailbox on Amazon BUT ….it is super cute and was very easy to install ( i replaced our old mailbox similar in size and shape ) so glad i made this purchase.

This holds a lot of mail and or small packages. It looks really cute!

This mailbox is lightweight and features a simple rectangular design with a magnetic closure and built-in hinges. I installed it more than a month ago and it's performed well. It's not airtight, but I've yet to encounter any mailbox that is. As a result, on rainy days, a few drops of rain sometimes find their way into the box (there are drain holes at the bottom of the box). The glossy paint is a high-quality enamel that resists scratches and is easy to keep clean. The box I purchased did not include mounting hardware, but that's likely because the type of hardware necessary will vary greatly depending on individual needs. In my case, I mounted this to an exterior brick wall, in the same location as the box it replaced. I didn't want to drill new mounting holes in the brick, so I needed to drill two holes in the back of the mailbox because the existing holes didn't match my situation. This was very easy to do using a drill bit intended for use on metal, but if you've never drilled a hole in metal, you should do your homework before attempting it, or risk damaging the mailbox. You'll need to carefully clamp the box in place, and brace the back of it against a block of scrap wood, opposite the drill bit. If you're mounting into brick or masonry be sure to purchase screws intended for brick or masonry. I'm happy with this purchase.

Got new siding on the house, so I upgraded the mailbox. I love the copper instead of basic black and it's a unique shape vs traditional rectangular boxes. This is also larger than you'd expect... I knew the measurements, but it still seems big. But I like that because it can fit standard mail as well as larger envelopes and small boxes. You can even get magazines in it and close the lid, so nothing gets wet.

Super cute mailbox. I love that the opening is like opening an envelope. We did have to stack a few washers on the back to get it to sit properly to allow the top to open without scratching the finish. It said in the instructions to use ones provided, there wasn’t any. Not a big deal, we had some spares in the garage

Good quality product. As advertised.

Clean simple design. Install as easy, the provided bumpers allow the lid to open smoothly. I have just installed, so I can’t comment on longevity. My main issue is the paint. It’s a burnt orange not “copper” - even the spray can stuff like more authentically copper than this. Not the end of the world for me as it works well with my orange door, but not what I was expecting. There are also imperfections in the paint job- what look like patches in the body or paint job that didn’t cover properly - more obvious in the picture and disappointing as the side where the biggest one is is facing you as you walk up to our house so it’s pretty obvious and can’t be hidden.
