This is great for thick hair! I have typically used twist-towels to wrangle my wet hair or protect my hair from getting frizzy in the shower if i'm not washing it, but my hair is so thick sometimes they pop off and i feel like the twisting causes damage. This product is high quality in terms of absorbancy and softness, and also allows for plenty of hair in the bonnet part, without twisting. The elastic is pretty strong so it doesn't fall off my head, and the absorbancy means i dont get water coming down my face from the wet edges of my hair. We will see how it holds up when my hair grows out longer (perhaps a version of the product with a larger bonnet for ppl with LOTS of hair? i dunno) but for now its working great!

These caps are perfect for after shower use. I have relatively thick hair that hangs halfway down my back. I blot my hair with a towel, twist it into a loose ponytail, and tuck it into the cap. I go on with "whatever" (drying, moisturizing, dressing...), then I take off the cap. My hair is still damp, but not sopping wet. I can dry & style if I want, or just scrunch and go. The cap is much more manageable than a towel twisted on top of my head or a drippy mass of hair hanging down my back.The band is snug enough to work, but not too tight.I wash & dry the caps with my towels and have had no problems. They've probably been washed about 10 times so far.Good purchase! If & when I wear out the first set, I will definitely buy more.

They're super soft, have a wide stretch area, not too tight, stays in place, room enough for my below-shoulder-length hair, and is comfortable.
