Great book!
This was a great book with lots of good advice. If you are serious about getting fit, this is an easy to follow program that will get you results with little equipment. The only thing I thought could've been better organized about the book itself was the actual suggested routines. They are separated beginner, intermediate, advanced workout 1, then they start over for workout 2 and again for 3. I thought if you are a beginner, all 3 workouts should be grouped together, the the intermediate, then advanced. Also, I thought these pages should've come as a pullout poster or something. It is sort of hard to remember what to do without the book right there in front of you. Those are the only reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Decent book
It's a pretty decent book. It has some lengthy tales of the Biggest Loser contestants with how to curb your diet and stay healthy. I skipped the first half of the book. My favorite part is the workouts in the back. They have detailed workouts for upper body, lower body and core exercises (with pictures so you know how to do them correctly). They have those exercises formed into beginner, intermediate, and advanced routines. I've tried several of the routines and they give a decent workout. They also include recipes and training logs. I would recommend it for those that don't know where to start or need ideas for good workout routines.

Do what you can in exercise.
I was looking for a book that would help me warm up and do exercises that I could do. I found that the workout here was just what I needed. I have gone to the exericses classes, gyms, read and was tired of all the garbage. This starts you slow and the warmup is just right. That I found out at a meeting where they did the same things, they usually charge about $150 to do this special range of motion stuff. Do what you can and since I have metal knee's and getting up in age this is something I can read and do part of the movements. Can not get on the floor but the bed is fine. There may be other books out there but this ones has just about all that you need.

It was ok
If you don't follow the show don't bother. 1/2 of it is about the people from he show. I love the show so I didn't mind but I would have preferred it be more of a manual. It would also have been nice if they made the pages easier to copy, the spine pretty sturdy... I only say so because you need to make copies of the logs.

Great!!!
The book is very interesting and didactic. Full of tips to make the reader really gets into the good shape and good health worlds. The book not only has many pictures to help the reader to execute the movements properly, but also it has a lot of tips to make the exercises more difficult. Unfortunately, the book does not do the entire job by itself. We have to go to the gym!!!!!!!!!

Great book!
I loved the book. It has great exercise routines in it from beginner to advanced and it is all stuff you can at home with the most minimal of equipment....like hand weights, and an exercise ball. I copy the routines out of the book and use it at the gym. If you don't know how to do a certain exercise there is a section that walks you through doing it.

Great book, great value
This book gives several levels so it is a good value and will last you for a long time. I liked it so much that I bought 2 more copies, took them apart, and made posters I could hang up to look at while exercising so I don't have to deal with stopping to look at the book.

Excellent for beginner Exercisers
The book does an excellent job of explaining and illustrating their fitness program. They are excellent for beginners. In addition to the shown exercices, they are many „Blurbs“ with exercice-tipps from the contestants of the show "The Biggest Loser".The book lists the equipments you'll need for the shown exercices: Dumbbells, an exercising tubing, a mat, a stability ball, a medicine ball, a xerdisc, and ankle weights. A heart-rate monitor is also recommendated, for determing whether your heart rate is in the fat-burning zone. The exercise program is based on a Circuit Training format. Circuit training excels at burning calories and increasing muscle endurance. It is not the best program for building muscle mass. According the General Law of Adaptation, the human body will adapt to the program in 6-to-8 weeks and start burning less calories. In other words, when a reader has plateaued, he or she will need to change his or her exercise program. In order to build muscle mass a person needs to ingest more calories than that person is burning off. Muscle cannot be built on negative calories.
