WELL THIS EDITION CONTAIN VERY FEW STORIES. I BOUGHT THINKING THAT THIS BOOK WILL HAVE LARGE NUMBER OF STORIES BY ANTON CHEKHOV. BUT IT DOES NOT. BUT AS PRINTING POINT OF VIEW , THE BOOK IS GEM.

This is a great collection of the short stories from one of the greatest short story writers of all time in the world. The book is very nice, hardbound and used good quality paper. Surely a collector's item.

I was late coming to Chekhov the short story writer. Chekhov's playsare great, but the stories are sublime. No one captures the vagariesof humanity the way he does. Essential reading for all.
