A little over-sizing is helpful - you should not worry about hitting corners with sander.
Perfect for polishing lacquer finish on wood. I've tried different products and this one is much better - gives me smooth mirror-like surface.Used it with Menzerna SF3500 Super finish Menzerna SF3500 Super Finish 3500, 8 oz. .I'm using 5'' sander and this thing is 5 1/2'' so it prevents accidentally hitting corners of work piece.

Amazing product, I recently use them for a hood ...
Amazing product, I recently used them for a hood that was in a very bad shape, I used them with Menzerna FG400 and my Griot's Garage THE BOSS G15, it corrects paint quickly and leaves an excellent finish. I did a 2nd pass with BOSS polish pad and CarPro Essence to achive perfection. I recommend it 100% for heavy paint correction.
