Half Size Car Cover fits BMW Z4 (E85) 2002-2008

Easy to fit, protects the roof perfectly, highly recommend

Fits the E85 Z4 well across the roof and mirrors but has is slightly long at each end so it lies partly over the bonnet and boot. The extra bits look like they are liable to flap in windy conditions. I would have preferred it was slightly tailored so that it stopped at the bottom of the windscreen and at the bottom of the roof above the boot. However, the material seems decent and the price is reasonable - so 4 stars.

It would appear that the cover I bought is leaving some nasty stains on the car after raining.Very disappointing

This cover protects just the soft top. It is relatively quick and easy to put on. You just slide the wing mirror covers into position and then stretch the elasticated lines around the front and back bumpers.It is effective in keeping the weather off the car. Particularly it is useful for frosts.One difficulty with the cover is what to do when it is wet. It can carry a lot of water or ice when you take it off, so you need somewhere to keep it while it dries. In fairness, I think that must apply to all covers of this type.The only problem specifically with my car which is a Z4 is that the front elastic is stretched to the fullest extent to get it on. This means that the cover is constantly put under quite a lot of strain and I suspect over time this may cause it to fail. However, it is a good value cover that works well, so I wouldn't hesitate to just replace it if that happens.
