We have found a good supply of very good oysters locally so needed something better than a screwdriver to open them. We bought this product and it works a treat. It feels robust and safe. Can only wholeheartedly recommend if you like oysters.

Looks solid and well made knife! It did a good job in my first trial after I bought it! Make sure that you use a steel mash glove as well, which is what I have discovered!

I don't know if perhaps a sharp shucker would have been a better idea. With blunt shucker it's hard to get into the shell initially. Well made though.

A good sturdy piece of equipment. It really does the job well and looks good on the table as well.

Very good knife, comfortable handle which allows good grip. Fills sturdy too. Haven't tried on oysters yet but hopefully should be okay

Being an oyster lover I am quite fussy about opening them quickly and with as little mess as I can so I thought I'd try this knife out. It has a longer handle than I'm used to but this actually made the job of opening 18 of the little boys easier, it allowed me to leverage the jointed opened more easily. I'd definitely recommend this and might buy a few as presents
