We love this book for learning abolition US history

Cute picture book with fun information. I bought this to go along with my childrens' homeschool history program this year. I'm not sure I would call this a school book. More like a funny comic book, but some of the children (ages 5-11) will enjoy it.

In contrast to most popular depictions of the westward expansion of the US, this presents a much more realistic view of the hardships faced by pioneers. Well done.

My son enjoys all the books in this series very much!

Clear and interesting information, coupled with illustrations that help the ideas stick in your head. An excellent introduction to reading The Little House books or visiting a pioneer museum.
