Much better value than fibreglass. My (big branded) fibreglass poles started to deform the first time I used them. 3-4 uses in 1 pole snapped at one end, thus the need to replace. These are much, much better. Less than half the weight, less than half the folded length and less bulk (slightly thinner diameter). They are stronger and better looking. Pity they only come in sets of 2, my tent has 3 poles. incidentally, each pole section is shorter than the average fibreglass pole thus making size matching easier. Just remove a pole section or cut one down. Also much more friendly material to cut than fibreglass. Heartily recommend.

Right size for my tent, a little tight but that's good. Feel pretty strong and not much heavier than the originals. Plus I now have a spare

Purchased to replace lost poles. Very good. Even if your not sure of precise length of original poles these can be adapted relatively simply (measure tent first and over do length if unsure).

If you ignore the colour, which doesn’t matter to me, then these poles are the exact replacement for the poles that I damaged. They even have the same end cap design. 11 sections 325 mm long giving me 3.6 metres.

Bought for a tent I had which came without poles and original replacements don't exist.Worked a treat.One section bent on first use & went straight in the bin (hence 4 stars) , but the rest were great and saw us good for 7 nights camping on the west highland way (96 mile hike in Scotland with all weather's), lightweight, compact and good looking; also really good with the seamless connections.

Very effective. A cm or two longer than the broken pole I was replacing, but works perfectly - actually better - than the poles I replaced.

I have a Timber Creek tent from Academy and don't know if it's difficult to find replacement poles for all tents or just Academy tents, but I didn't want to just throw away a perfectly good tent.Took a chance on these even though the length was about ~4 inches longer... think my original tent poles were 166"....and these are about 3.68" longer.Was really happy when I put them onto the tent and, yes, the tent is certainly more taut, but not to the point of not functioning.I'd say they are good replacement poles and I'll know a bit better after first night out.I think there are 4 additional lengths than my original poles, but each individual length is shorter, so it equals out.So, moral: measure your overall length and see if you can get close. Longer than originals obviously better than shorter.

I like it did what the advertisement said. Very flexible and resistant. I like the tight fit and color. Very happy with it.
