Remo ET-0212-00 Ocean Drum

I trained as a sound therapist using this drum. So for me it was an obvious choice. Much better than smaller cheaper options. The ocean sound is easier to control on these larger drums. 16 inch is ideal for my needs. I love the fact that no animals suffered in the production too. If you want to bring a real ocean effect to your events or classes then I can highly recommend this item.

I’d heard it before and bought it as a present. They loved it! Might be a bit noisy in a very small room as the Ocean waves roll around !

This is a wonderful ocean drum. Very hypnotic, relaxing, powerful and versatile. It's used mostly in Yoga classes and the pupils just love it. Exactly what was hoped for. I'd strong recommend a buyer invests another 40-odd quid on a Meinl cover and carrying case. The drum is a musical instrument and is not built for being left around the house, or transported in a car, unprotected. Would recommend Remo's ocean drums to everyone.

If you want a shaker/noise maker "like the ocean" OK........... but if you want a deep sounding earth tone drum, this is not for you. It does not come with a drum beater just in case you were wondering. I have a Remo Buffalo drum and love and deep rich sound. Sadly this drum was returned.

My friends and I have had a fantastic time with this drum, it is totally mesmerizing and a great addition to any drum circle, musically, spiritually and so much fun!!
