Wow how far cubes have come
When I first got into cubing in high school this set would have been AMAZING. Gone are the days where the eastsheen 4x4 is king of the market. Simply all of these cubes are AWESOME.They are stickerless which is always optimal. They have a very slight texture to them, somewhere between totally smooth and how textured tiles feel. These are my first cubes like this and are quickly becoming some of my favorites. The slight texture is not "scratchy" but I would describe the movement as pleasantly "whooshy". If you are a cuber as well you may know what I mean.2x2 - My least played with puzzle, but I literally tried to abuse this cube and could not get it to pop, something that seems hard for 2x2s to perfect, at least to me. Corner cuts, doesn't pop. Everything I need in a 2x2.3x3 - With altered corner pieces similar to most mainstream cubes today, the cube is fast and corner cuts like a breeze. I have spent more than this whole set costs, for a single 3x3, and I like this 3x3 better.4x4 - Honestly I think this is better than my Auso 4x4. They feel so amazingly similar, but I really like the slight texture as opposed to glass-like smoothness. Also, the cube is molded florian-mod-like with extra space for the outer layers to corner cut. The very center of each face is also slightly opened up as well to ease dual layer turns.5x5 - Initially I was disappointed with this cube after the first 3 impressed me so much, however, the cube was simply too tight. I loosened the screws a little and its much better. Not quite as good as the 4x4 but I am biased to 4x4s in general, compared to 5x5s. It also has a florian like molding shape in relation to the corners. The colors are very similar to a traditional "bright" set. Not my personal taste as I like a "half-bright" set, but they do contrast well together.Lastly, I must disclaim I would not consider myself a speed-cuber, however I am certainly a puzzle enthusiast with well over 100 different twisty puzzles. So while my speed may not match another, I can certainly move fast enough to cause pops, if they were to happen, and have many years of experience to know when puzzles are low quality. These cubes continue to impress me. In my hay day, a set like this simply did not exist, and my past self is angry about this. If you are at all hesitant, don't be. BUY THEM.

Great puzzles at a great price!!!
These cubes are honestly great! At this price, I didn't know what to expect but I was completely blown away by their quality. Out of the box, the cubes move well, they have sort of a smooth gummy feel which is how I usually like my cubes set up. All the cubes have a matte finish which I have never seen before on stickerless cubes and they feel great. The colors are super vibrant compared to the cubes I have and I really like how they look!2x2 moves better than my WitEden stickerless 2x2 and corner cuts just as well.3x3 is awesome, I already like it more than my Dayan Guhong v2 stickerless. Right away it moves better than my Guhong does which I had to set up myself. Had to tighten it up a bit when I got it but that is just my preference.4x4 moves way better and cuts corners A LOT better than my Shengshou 4x4 which is nice on larger cubes.5x5 is probably my favorite of the bunch. It's the same size as the 4x4 meaning it's not nearly as cumbersome as most 5x5's. Because of its size, it's super easy to maneuver and I like solving it way more than my Shengshou 5x5.I'm new to this brand but they definitely seem to know what they are doing. All the cubes I compared the QiYi ones would cost way more if bought separately. Amazing starter set for anyone getting into cubing. Can't recommend them enough!

Great Cubes for their Price however....
I will be rating these cubes on a few characteristics: First Impressions, turning quality, corner cutting, texture/feel, experience after breaking it in, and affordability. The box comes with a booklet that indicates how to solve each of these cubes so that's great too and others too. Each of these cubes, I will be comparing it to the following and I will be indicating when I purchased compared cube:2x2: Dayan Zhanchi 2x2 (purchased 2013)3x3: Dayan Panshi (2014), Moyu Weilong GTS2 (2018), Gans 356 S (2018) and Gans 356SM (2018)4x4 Shengshou 4x4 (2013)5x5 Shengshou 5x5 (2013)All of the Cubes:Affordability: You can consider that all of these cubes are around 5 dollars which is wayyy cheaper the compared cubes so that's a +. Basically, you get to experience all of the levels of cubes at a great price.Texture/Feels: All of these cubes have an exterior Matte/Pillowed Feeling. I do not personally care about the stickerless design but it was a different experience. The other stickerless cubes I have are a smoother plastic so it was a surprise to me. but this quality is not something that I will lower the stars for this product for. This is just a personal taste.Individual Cubes and their qualities:2x2: Out of the box, the Qiyi needed its tensions loosened heavily. I loosened it a lot and still, I would feel that the tensions are too tight. Compared to the Dayan, the Qiyi has significantly worse corner cutting (<40 degrees) and worse reverse cutting (~10-15). During my solves most of the time I would expect the cube to corner cut but the cube would just lock up. The cube doesn't pop so that's great and it does not have corner twisting during my solves. The cube has a whooshing feeling when turned.3x3: I would say that the 3x3 is the best cube out of the series. I did the most testing on this cube since 3x3s are my favorite cubes. This cube came in WAYYYYYYY TOO tight. I had to spend about an hour or two just to find out its right tensions. Before Tensioning, the cube could barely corner cut and just felt too rigid. After tensioning, I was able to get the cube to corner cut almost as well as the GTS2. The cube now sounds like the GTS2 with a scratchy turning which I personally like. I would feel that lube would make this cube even better. Overall this cube is better than my Dayan now and is almost as good as the GTS2. However, compared to the magnetic cubes, this cube cannot even compare and that's not fair to the Qiyi so I won't get into that. However, the Qiyi can improve with lube and it's almost as good as my gts2.4x4: This cube came in too tight. And loosening the tensions was also troublesome because it would soon pop after a bit of loosening. Compared to my Shengshou this cube has its pros and cons. The cube sounds like it is just grinding on the other pieces and the turning is way too slow. Definitely needs lube. Corner cutting is a bit better than my Shengshou. The Shengshou feels nice to turn and is much scratchier than the Qiyi while the qiyi is just too rigid overall.5x5: Overall I enjoyed this cube more than my Shengshou 5x5. I had to loosen the tensions but not too much. it didn't feel like the pieces were grinding on each other and corner-cutting and turning quality aren’t that bad. I would use this 5x5 more than my Shengshou.Comments for company: an inexperienced cuber who sees these cubes will do alright with solves. But once they shift to the premium cubes they will see a significant improvements because the premium cubes offer a lot than these cubes. However, if Qiyi can indicate that the cubes can do better with lube or with looser tensions, the cubes can remain with these cubers for longer. I personally wasn't a fan of the matte feel and others might disagree but a smoother plastic would be my suggestion.Improvements: A bit looser tensions, Add lube to the box, different coloring/feel for the exteriorTLDR: Overall I gave these cubes 4 stars because the cubes are great for their price range. However, they came way too tight on tensions, and some needed lube to actually turn well (the 4x4 and 5x5). The corner cutting is not the best but they’re okay and can be improved on some. These cubes are great introductory cubes if you want to get into speed cubing. However understand that there are better cubes than these. But if you want a good budget cube, these are all right. I would not use this 2x2 or 4x4. The 3x3 and the 5x5 are good in my opinion.
