RC Plane Master with USB Transmitter Box Set

Having found that my usual flying field was no longer available for me to use my 2-channel glider and long bungee and the smaller field that was available is surrounded by trees that makes a long bungee impossible and a long landing approach hazardous due to surrounding trees. I was considering buying a small electric glider that I could fly in the local park. While looking on the Internet I came upon the Planemaster Flight Simulator and thought this might be helpful. The Plane Master exceeded my expectations. I have also downloaded the FREE extras Planes and sites. Total is now 22 Planes and 7 Sites. I would urge any purchaser to make sure they read the instructions and F.A.Q;s. It was only after I had been using it for a while that I checked up and found that the distance of the Chase View can be easily altered by using two of the keyboard hot keys. Also that could assign the switch on the transmitter to work the retracts. Although Planemaster will undoubtedly help anyone to learn to fly radio control, it has many options that make it a great product in its own right. You can take the standing viewpoint that you would see if you were operating a model from a fixed point, but it is great fun to fly all the other options and given the difficulties of finding suitable flying sites I think this will be my preference for quite a while. It has so many aircraft which under normal circumstances I would not be likely to own or competent to risk and so many sites that I could not hope the have available.

This product does not work in Windows on Parallels for Mac.There is a security step which means that the CD has to be recognised as native to the machine.Disappointing - since it seems like this is overall a good product.

Just what I wanted. I have crashed soooo many times on the simulator its unreal. Thank god it wasn't my beautiful glider, which is still in the box and looks like staying there for the time being.One problem so far the plane can go out of sight so all you see is a little speck. Not good for beginners because you can't see how the plane is responding to what you are doing with the controls.It was easy to install though the controls are not as responsive as I would have liked. But they will give me practice on becoming use to the controls and hopefully learning to fly.Its cheep not great quality but hopefully it will do the job of preparing me to fly my model glider.

I am still a noobie at rc model plane flying, but at this stage I found this to be a good product at a good price, but it's not without its limitations. Many have already mentioned that the graphics let this flight sim down. I also found that it comes with only 5 airfields/locations but only one is useable and semi realistic. This is a bit limiting. I also found that it only had two 'trainer' aircraft, a 3 channel and a 4 channel. The other 10 aircraft are really for advanced flyers as it come with two jets (fly too fast to learn on), two aerobatic planes, and assorted other challenging to fly airplanes. In the end, I ended up with one airfield and two planes to work with. Still for the price it is a good sim to learn on and a lot cheaper on the pocket than a real plane when you have a crash. I have enjoyed my many hours behind the controls and find this sim a bit addictive.For those like me who are just getting into the hobby I would recommend it, not because it doesn't have limitations, but because at the price it is a really good tool to learn on.I am now considering getting the more expensive Phoenix RC sim, but that's partly because I live in London and it's a bit tricky for me to get to the airfield. From what I've seen the Phoenix sim looks so realistic that I'm hoping it will provide a good substitute to going to the airfield on days when I don't have the time or when it's so cold or windy that it wouldn't be much fun anyway. It also appears to come with a very long list of aircraft you can fly. If access to a flying field is easy for you then I recommend you buy this sim, even though it comes with the above mentioned limitations, and spend any spare cash on your airplane and equipment. If, like me, getting to your flying field is a bit more tricky then I would suggest you also consider the more expensive Phoenix sim. I hope these comments are helpful to you.

I previously purchased the RC Heli Master from this source and found it to be an excellent simulator.I have now purchased the RC Plane Master and found it to be identical obviously with the exception of what was being controlled.The service from the supplier was as usual excellent and the quality of the item as good as the previous one.It was well packaged and delivered earlier than expected.I have no complaints at all and thank you for your excellent service once again.

there are far better flight sims out there. The Pheonix is more expensive but has a lot more features that work well.

I used this trainer to give me a bit of experience before taking up rc flying, the graphics are pretty old school but the product did exactly what i wanted it to. The plane selection was ok, i liked having the usb controller. i do believe this program has helped me to understand line of sight flying and has certainly helped when save money (have crashed many planes within the simulator).i would recommend this for someone getting into rc flying who wants to improve their skills without crashing an expensive model.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago , and i recommend anyone who is thinking of taking up rc planes to get this first , it really simulates a model aircraft you can set the weather and different flight settings and you will have fun but you will save a lot of money by getting this first before you buy the real thing , very easy to set up and you will be flying in minutes  RC Plane Master with USB Transmitter Box Set - Mode 2
