Head On Headache Pain Reliever, Extra Strength

I'm always fascinated by the reviews for HeadOn. They almost always fall into one of two categories:- "I've used this product and it's awesome!"- "I haven't used this product, but I've looked at the ingredients. I don't understand how it works, therefore it must not work and I'm giving it a bad review"Very few are the reviews that say "I've used this and it doesn't work". People, TRY IT before you give it a bad review!I'm a frequent migraine sufferer. It's my curse in life. Some days, I wind up taking more Excedrin and Motrin than I care to admit. And the prescription migraine meds? If they work, they give me rebound migraines the next day.When the painkiller pills aren't working, HeadOn comes to the rescue. It's the extra edge I need to either get me through the day, or help me get to sleep. I swear by this stuff!HeadOn isn't an analgesic or anti-inflammatory like your usual over the counter painkillers. Instead, it creates a cooling tingling sensation which helps to mask the pain and provide relief. It's safe to use with other painkillers. Spread it over your forehead generously (be careful not to get it in your eyes!!). After a moment or two, you'll feel it kick in. The cooling tingling begins, and the pain fades to the background. It's a lot like putting an ice pack on your forehead, without having to actually hold an ice pack.If you doubt it, just try it. Get a stick. Try it. If you don't like it, fair enough. Leave a bad review then if you so wish. But if you haven't tried it, you don't know.As for me, any product that can help me live with my migraines is worth its weight in gold.

I actually found this product very effective, it uses a "menthol" type gel which seems to alleviate headache pain. I cannot recommend the product though; when it ran out I tried IcyHot and it did the exact same thing. It might have actually worked a little better, but it didn't cost $25 and can be found locally.If you are considering buying this, try IcyHot first and if that doesn't do the trick then go ahead and fork out the cash.

I totally love this product. I don't know why did they stop selling it at the supermarket. It really helps with headaches. My only complaint is that once of the 3 HEADons I ordered arrived completely melted :( thus, useless. Please be more careful with the quality of the products to be shipped.

Well I love the product it allways works for me, but as I need to buy it by mail , it comes to be already half melted ... so I only have half of the product to use .... So I don't think I will order again because it;s expensive to only get half of the product anyway

I have found over the years that items that work and don't take an arm and a leg to maintain never stay around. That is because 'its not marketable'. That means people don't have to pay over and over for any results. That's Head-On. It works. It is cheap and lasts a long time. I have an allergy to allergy medicine and tylenol products. That leaves me with no way to relieve even a minor head ache except by using Head-On.

The head-on product does what it says, and provides good headache relief. The price, however, is ridiculous. Should be about 10% what is being asked. Were it not for my wife's migraines, I would not have purchased this product.

It was supposed to be a solid tube of stuff you could rub on your forehead for migraines. The one I recieved was almost in liquid form & when I removed the lid, all of it came out in the lid & it was only app. 1/3 full, I know it used to cost between $6 & $10 but is no longer available in drug stores, so that is the reason I ordered some & it cost me $27!! I feel it should have been of high quality for that added price, so am not happy at all!! Thank you. Pati McKim

Product WAS great when they still made it(why did they stop???)Company I bought it from gets a one star as I paid a lot of money for this (as its discontinued-I realized that going in so was willing to pay more) , BUT , the vial was half empty and you could tell it had melted . Probably been in a shelf or box for years-the box was mangled too that it was in.
