Good BP monitor
This monitor arrived really fast. It is a compact unit, suitable for travel. The set up is very easy and the measurements are accurate (educated opinion based on the fact that I am a healthcare professional and faculty). The cuff is made of good quality materials.Another plus is the inclusion of the power supply, so the client should not fear running out of batteries at the worst times.Although it is a small size monitor, the display is large and the backlight makes it easy to read. The irregular heartbeat detector is a helpful measurement, which if it appears often alerts of need to visit a doctor for check up.Advice for use: set up date and time as soon as you install the batteries (included- 4 AAA).Slip in your arm in the cuff as it is, do not pull it apart.

Easy to use and accurate
I like the simpler design of this machine compared to the one I used to use. I appreciate that it provides a result after a "single" reading. My physician wants me to take three readings and average them, but she wants the data from each reading as well as the average. My previous machine automatically took three readings and averaged them into one result, which didn't provide the information my physician needed.

User friendly and accurate
Even if you use this just to keep an eye on your numbers, it works fairly well. It helped us record and explain a recent health concern to our PCP.

Seems easy to use
I have no way to confirming it is fully accurate but it seems consistent. It is easy to use and to review previous readings. The display is clear and readable. Good product.

Very intuitive, easy to use, with nice carry bag too.
HSA qualified which is important. So far very good. Easy to use, ready to go out of the box with batteries for anytime use and plug for at home. Carry bag is nice too. Intuitive controls, two user settings and memory. Fair price. Very good value.

Excellent rechargeable blood pressure monitor
The best part about this monitor , is that its plugged in the wall....so it has constant power to let you check your blood pressure without worrying about the batteries getting low. Very good and accurate readings. I love it . Recommend it to everyone.

No fuss monitor
The size of the screen display is great for my nearsighted mother. It does what it's supposed to do so we're happy. It's very compact for saving space. The carry case ensures she'll be able to take the monitor with her any time she travels. Very simple, straightforward, no fuss or extra frills. You can't get better than that for the price.

Ehhh, It is not OK
When I first received this BP monitor, I recall reading that I should take my pressure 3 times, waiting at least 3-5 minutes between each reading and that the average between the 3 readings would give me the most accurate BP reading. I did that for 3 months. The reading results were/are wildly different with each reading, some of the readings are extremely high and then 5 minutes later the next reading is extremely low. Although the average would generally be what all of the charts say is high BP.I took the meter to my physicians office and the reading from the Greater Goods monitor was (140/80) which was over 20 points higher for the systolic reading of my doctors manual BP contraption (118/80), the doctor stated that the results from the Greater Goods monitor are within the numbers that are normal for a person my age. When I questioned her about why "all" of the published charts say differently, she said she does not know why they do not update the charts. I am concerned because of the exceptionally wide range between the readings. The doctor cautioned me to only take my blood pressure 1 time a day and to never take multiple readings in consecutive order even if I wait 3 to 5 minutes in between readings. She stated that multiple readings could be harmful. She also stated that the charts used for rating normal to elevated to stage 1 & stage 2 hypertension is outdated and not accurate. Now, the comments on the cuff for reading my blood pressure: The cuff is awful, it fits horribly. It is difficult to adjust, although after much manipulation, I place it on my arm as directed but the machine consistently errors out, requiring several attempts.Personally, I do not trust that the results are accurate because since my doctor visit, I occasionally take the reading, wait 10 minutes between readings and every single time the second reading is at least 20 points lower that the first. In my opinion, if it were a quality machine the results would be consistent. To me, it is unimaginable for a BP reading to go from 140 to 120 to 118 all within 15 minutes. If I had it to do all over again, I would purchase a different BP monitor given how inconsistent this one is. I'd rather have no reading than have readings with such extreme differences between readings. At this point, I will take my chances because the extreme variances in readings only adds to my stress.
