Sturdy, quality traffic control!
I was immediately impressed by the quality of this product upon opening the package! The post has a wide diameter, almost 5". The plastic is a heavy gauge. The area at the top of the Delineator is square, wide and sturdy and will easily allow for a variety of types & diameters of ropes or chains to be installed between them, that can simply be looped to prevent rope sag at unwanted points between the posts. The product comes with an inverted 10 # mat, constructed to enable leveling with potential uneasy surfaces. It will keep the pole upright and in place. It can easily be disassembled for movement or storage. It is highly visible.

Great use for horses
These I use in my horse arena and work great, they are heavy enough to not get knocked over but we we did hit them they pop back up or stay down I never worry about getting hurt w/ them in the area w me / us

Asphalt base becomes difficult to work with
Two winters use now for street snow and frontage. I did some wiggling to get the bases on this year. One upright would not remain firm in base and listed. Two of the three bases were most difficult to get over the rings on the upright. My guess is this great idea would be best if the bases had oversized holes and a grommet ring that would hold the upright straight while in use then with good pressure release over the rings. There is no good way to "yank" the square asphalt base when removing them as they are. Turning the pole upside down and pounding it thru just bent the handle over sideways.

Doesn't make people know/learn how to drive
So many people have no idea where the boundaries of their vehicles are. I used these to HELP people navigate a sharp turn entrance to a car wash. I think they use them as speed bumps or something. Sheesh.

These posts fall over very easily.
These plastic posts, even with the sturdy 10 pound rubber base on them, tipped over when you attached the light weight plastic chain on them to enclose an area. It is the chain that is sold to go with the posts.

Post and chain
Chains are plastic so have to be careful or they can break but posts are sturdy enough.
