Product advertised is NOT the product shipped
This product is a bait and switch with false advertising. The product is well made but is not as described. The item is described as the “all seasons” comforter, with a queen size having a silk weight of 1.5 kg in the item name, description, and customer questions answered by the seller. However, the product shipped is the company’s “washable” comforter which has HALF the silk weight, 0.75 kg for a queen on the company’s website. The company’s website separately lists the “all season” comforter, where the queen size has 1.75 kg silk weight. The difference between the two comforters is apparent based on the weight and also the stitching of the cover. The shipped product has simple square panel stitching which matches the “washable” comforter pictures on the company website, while the advertised “all season” comforter has distinctive circular spot stitching as described on the Amazon product page and in the shown pictures of the Amazon listing and the company website. The entire Amazon listing - name, pictures, description, and answered questions - all refer to a different and higher quality product which IS NOT the one being sold and shipped. This is deceptive advertising. Do not buy.

Best blanket-type item I've ever owned!
EDIT: The duvet I received is just as pictured and described here on the Amazon product page. The person who reviewed this duvet on 1/16/21, saying the company is doing a bait-and-switch, much more likely just received the wrong item due to a shipping error; not sure why they've leaped to accusing the company of fraud. This is my first silk-filled duvet. I've been having trouble with overheating at night and waking up sweaty for a long time, and it's kept me from getting enough rest. A memory foam mattress and pillows don't help, either! Well, I recently discovered Hotel Sheets Direct's bamboo viscose sheets and pillowcases, and they are near miraculous. They are cooling/temperature-regulating, they wick moisture, and they feel soft and silky. Those helped a lot, and I now own six sets plus extra pillowcases, and have gifted sets to three friends! But I still had a polyester comforter making me too warm, and when I tried my summer-weight down duvet, it wasn't any better.I saw that the same company makes a duvet cover set, and asked on the product page what would be the best kind of duvet insert to maintain the beneficial properties of the bamboo duvet cover. Everyone, including the seller, recommended a silk-filled duvet. I searched Amazon trying to find one with either a silk shell or a bamboo shell, but the only one I found with a silk shell was about $500, and I wasn't ready to pay that much. So I went with this Mommesilk cotton-shell duvet, as it had good reviews and was one of the most affordable. I've been using it for several weeks now in this hot northern California summer, and it's fantastic. It looks thin, but it has some weight to it, especially with the bamboo duvet cover on it, which feels really nice for relaxing and falling asleep. Most nights I use it on its own (inside the duvet cover of course) just over the top sheet, and I stay warm and cozy without overheating. Some nights I actually need to put a throw blanket on top to warm up for a little bit right after getting in bed, or I add my thin bamboo blanket if it's cold in the house. And some nights I use my bamboo-covered weighted blanket on top, and usually I still stay cool enough, even with that on me!! I'm so happy to have finally solved my hot sleeping issues, and I would definitely recommend this duvet.

Amazing quality. Just buy!!
I've never had a duvet let alone silk before... But I'm so glad I went for quality over price.. Actually.. The price was reasonable tbh. Considering I will have it for years.. PLUS... I did a lot of searching on Amazon and found this one had more silk for the filling than other comparable options..Honestly sleeping under this feels amazing. I thought I was a sweaty sleeper but realized it's bc I've been sleeping under polyester sheets and blankets.. I purchased a 1500tc egyptian cotton sateen duvet cover and it really completes the bedding.Literally the feeling is cool but also warm... Like... Its great breathability but also keeps warm... But not too warm. Very impressed. If you are considering a silk duvet I highly recommend!Update: after using this duvet for a few months I am still so in love with crawling in bed it feels wrong to be so excited LOLL

Not as advertised!
Sent something totally different than advertised! There is box stitching across the whole comforter in a diamond pattern (the type of stitching that the product description claims destroys the silk), rather than spot stitching that is pictured and described in this listing. I'm not sure of the weight of the silk, as this is my first silk duvet, but it doesn't seem very warm or thick, so I'm guessing it's far less than the 1.5kg it claims to be in this listing.

First Silk Duvet. Pretty Impressed!
I just received my duvet today and I'm pretty excited about it. First, I've never had another silk-filled duvet, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was prepared for something that was basically a quilt. But no, the comforter has a bit of fluff and weight. It won't be as lofty as a big cloudlike down comforter, but it still looks like a normal comforter and it fills out my duvet cover just fine. I'm sitting under it in a room that's maybe in the low 60's farenheit and it's warm while being breathable. I also think that the cotton of the duvet feels soft and high quality. By comparison, the 100% cotton duvet cover (that has 4.5 stars on Amazon) I bought to go with it feels pretty scratchy. I wish I could get a cover made of the same cotton as the duvet.

It's heavier than 1.5kg
Needed a really light 1.5kg comforter. Perhaps that's the weight of the filling and not the whole duvet. It means you get better quality for the price paid. However, in a very warm climate, we really needed something very light as it's heavier than my current one which weighs the total of 1.5kg. The total weight seems to be 2.5kg.
