Resin Incense, White Mayan Copal, 1 oz, IN236

It reminds me of the quality white copal I remember but this one smells cheaper and not as pleasant. My daughter says it smells like burning plastic. Not the best quality for sure.

This incense smells just the way I expected. Not plastic or anything as mentioned by another customer. My reason for only giving it 3 stars is that, on placing it upon an ignited charcoal, it rapidly evaporated at many times the rate of, say, frankincense resin. Perhaps it is just my ignorance of the properties of white copal, as this was the first time I have ever tried it. Still, though, it has an excellent aroma.

Do not buy! I got this today and I want everyone to read this. Now, maybe this was just my experience, but I added some of these tiny pebbles to a charcoal that was white hot, which is plenty hot to burn any pure incense completely. This stuff smoked alot, and at first, it was a nice smell. But then, after that, it turned nasty. The charcoal got blackend out by this, which should not happen. The worst part was after the incense burned,the next smell and smoke was dark and toxic. It was nasty smelling. At one point, after it cooled, I took my needle nose pliars and pulled out a lump of some black hardened material that was left behind. I put a lighter to it and it lit up, and it burned on it's own! It put out black smoke, and was obviously plastic! It stunk bad! I think the reason their selling this in small granuals is because it has plastic pieces mixed in. Plastic is much cheaper then incense. Now, maybe this was done by accident, I don't know, but I'm done with these guys.

This fragrance has a fresh minty and sweet aroma, however the pieces are extremely small and almost powdery when you get to the bottom. If it wasn't for the small granules I would give this Copal a 5 Star.

Its great, but it did come a little shattered, 1/4 of it is powder.

This copal burns well and the scent is pleasant. I have many types of copal and this one doe last a little longer than some of the less expensive ones.

This has to be burned on a charcoal disk. Burning It on a heater or on foil doesn't work for some reason. When burned on charcoal disc it gives a wonderful scent, and plenty of smoke. No burning plastic odor either. This is one of my favorites.
