I wanted a cheap pair of bear claws for occasional use around the garden and these are perfect for that. If I were using them regularly then I would spend a bit more to get something sturdier as the flex a little in use. However, they are well cast and comfy to use and smaller than most to store when not in use, if that is important to you.Recommended for light garden use.

These are inexpensive. Lightweight but do the job I need them to do. They are efficient at picking up leaves in a small to medium space.

These work well and allow me to pick up a lot of fallen leaves in one go. My only criticism is that they feel a little bit tight on my hands, and can therefore be a little uncomfortable after prolonged use. I'm a 6ft2in male with (I hope!) regular sized hands; if your hands are on the larger scale, you may wish to consider an alternative item.

Many thanks to the man who submitted a photo of himself using these ....they are just the right size for me too & I certainly couldnt have been bothered with any of the 'huge' ones on sale.Too many people griping about them being too thin.. On examining them on arrival they appear to befine for me & I have no complaints.As with many things these days, it does not pay to be too heavy-handed with anything. Its usuallya matter of 'easy does it - but do it'.

Purchased these to replace our broken ones. Haven’t used them yet but should do the job.

Not a necessity but useful to have. I don't know how long the plastic handles will last, they seem a but flimsy, but good for now.

Every year I have loads of leaves in the front garden. Gloves on, rake up, grab a hand full between my hands, repeat 100 times. These make the job so much easier and they're cheap. The job now takes 1/4 of the time and when done they take up next to no room on the shelf. Worth buying.
