If this relay is bad. your engine will crank fine but will not start because the fuel is not getting to the engine.THE ORIGINAL RELAY IS A DUAL RELAY THAT IS MOUNTED ON THE FIREWALL.THIS 4 PRONG PLUG ON THAT RELAY WILL PLUG DIRECTLY INTO THIS RELAY AND WORKS FINE.

Simply plug it in.If your oem relay failed, truck will turn over but not start, unless you turn on key, then pull up on the fuel shutoff solenoid, then try .OEM has two relays together, this is just the one. It won't fit back in the dual relay holder, just hold it with a Tie Strap

Fixed the issue with the fuel silonod not turning on with the key on our 96 dodge diesel. Replaced the silonod and then bought this. This was the issue and an cheap easy fix. Fits great works perfect.
