Works alright
Noisy when moving after some months and it sometimes falls apart at the base if you adjust it too fast and there is no swivel close to the mix to angle up at your face or down to the desk.Holds it's position perfectly, easy to route my cables through the gaps, but be careful not to pinch the cables. Very sturdy and easy to install and folds up well for carrying around. Recommended for how cheap it is.

Reasonable stand let down by the clamp
Bought to go with an amazonbasic mini condenser desk microphone so that my son can put it in a better position closer to his face when gaming etc. Good news it does fit to the mic. It is a very basic stand but seems adjustable. The only thing letting it down is the base clamp stand. This is very flimsy and really needs to be more solid as it is bending on tightening it. See the photo. Also the metal spine from the stand that goes into the clamp is just hollow curved plate from the bottom bracket of the stand - I can see this snapping if you are not careful. All in all it was cheap and I don’t think I can expect more for the price.

Good value for money
The media could not be loaded. The product is reasonable for the money. I have now found that I could have purchased 3 items for £4 more, so I wish to retract my statement about it being one of the cheapest price points on amazon.Using a shock mount causes weigh issues with the stand's arm, but a shockmount is effective at reducing vibration noise from my desk. Using a light weight microphone and the mic clip provided makes positioning the arm much easier, but the feedback from vibrations renders recordings unusable unless you're as motionless as a statue. The stand is light weight, but I would have traded lightweight for a heavier product if the arm had more strength and stability. The product does not match the images 100% and this was somewhat misleading as I chose this supplier based on the images they provided. To be honest, I'm not sure how different the G clamp shown would be to the one provided... but I was annoyed initially. The seller did redeem himself slightly with speedy shipping.

Cheap but not heavy duty
Generally a great value product, but not super well built.Main issue is the pin at the base of the armature is lose / poorly calibrated so the whole thing wobbles at that point a lot - makes for a super flimsy connection. It's not going to fall out, but when you adjust the arm into place and let go, it falls into a different position because of the flex at that point. Also, the base hinge barely hinges backwards - so you can't push it back (and out the way) so the mic is above the clamp.Whilst it looks identical to other more expensive products, I think I would rather spend more and get something more robust (which I have experienced elsewhere). If I was less lazy / kept packaging / wasn't in a national lockdown, I would return it.

About right for the price
It's reasonably heavy and does the job of supporting my AKG P120 and a pop filter. The screw tighteners have to be done up pretty tight to stop the mic from drifting downwards, but I wouldn't use it for a heavier mic. I don't use a shock mount and the stand does a good job of isolating the mic acoustically. The build quality is what you would expect at this price. The black coating on the steel arms is already starting to come off around the joints and there is already a little rust where it has come off. If you want to save money, this will do in the short term. If you want something that will last, spend more.

Nearly Perfect
The only reason this isn't a five-star review is that I am sure you can buy a better product... HOWEVER for the price, its faultless.I have the Quadcast and it does what it says on the tin.

got my address wrong and they still managed to fix it after a dispatch!
Overall, the movement of the arm is limited. But... BUT its cheap. If you want a super good one then obviously spend the money. but this arm for the price is great. I managed to hook up a mic to it but messing with the fittings. which was my biggest fear. but it all worked. Very happy with my purchase. overall the only thing I dont like is the way it sits in the clamp (wobbly but its not gonna jump out) and the thin padding. but i havent seen any damage on my desk anyway, so its overall grand! 10/10

Versatile
Perfect for me. I bought two to use at my electronics station. One holds a digital microscope, and the other a hot air wand.I can pull the tools in and out when I need them, and they stay in position when let go.The clamp that holds the arm to the table is good too; I found it to be plenty wide enough, and it grips my work bench tightly.I needed to buy clamps to hold my tools, but microphone clamps bought separately were ideal. They're perfect for what I need them for, and I'd recommend them.
