I always have trouble defrosting food in the microwave, it usually comes out overcooking a portion of my food. I also hate waiting all day for something to defrost naturally, so much so that I usually just end up eating out. This tray has been a great help so far. The suggested defrost times are pretty close. I'd say about an hour for a chicken breast or steak. Be sure to flip it over around 30 minutes in! I've noticed it works best for flat cuts of meat.The ceramic knife is sharp! Ive never used ceramic before until now but I love it so far. May need to get some more of these in different sizes. Glad it comes with a sheath so its not just banging around in my drawer. Just FYI make sure to not use it on the defrost tray itself as it'll scratch (I forgot and did this by accident)Ive also used this as a cheese serving tray like the photos and it works great. After putting the board in the fridge for 20 mins or so it actually help keep my cut cheeses cool while serving. How neat!Overall really love this!

the knife was fantastic! It was great for cutting cheese for a charcuterie I made.The defrosting tray defrosted two packs of chicken in about two hours. Usually it takes way longer for that if I didn’t use the tray. The only issue I had, however, were the corner tabs getting loose/coming off whenever the meat was being turned to the other side to complete defrosting, which is why I rated it 4 stars. They could just be removed to prevent that, though. It was just frustrating to deal with that one the moment, but that’s all!It’s a great product and I would recommend it to friends, though! It would make a fantastic housewarming gift

I just recently purchased this thawing tray and have used it for thawing ground beef and lamb chops. It worked well for both. The ground beef was pretty thick so it took a little longer to thaw than expected, but it works like a charm. I highly recommend having one.

I was skeptical but it works. It took 45 min to thaw frozen pork chops. That said , if you need food thawed in less time, you’ll still need microwave

I tried thawing my frozen prime rib utilizing this item, but still took over 6 hours to thaw, I thought it'd be faster than that, knife that came with it was great though!

I’m not sure this works but I guess it’s not a bad place to set frozen meat.

Found out today from my sister in law who received this for Christmas last year that it doesn’t work really well. Honestly she never used it after the first 2 times. Now it takes up space in her kitchen cabinet.
