Consider before buying: Thumb joysticks are too stiff, buttons are less sensitive.
The controller works as advertised but there are a few issues that the potential buyer should consider:1. The thumb joysticks are very stiff and lacking in sensitivity compared to the original Sony controller's joystics, making precise movements a challenge, and I mean a big challenge.2. The buttons are also stiff and lack sensibility, which means you have to push them harder than what you would be used to with the original controller.3. The USB cord it comes with is very short, good only to charge the battery.I was surprised at how stiff are the thumb joysticks. I tried my new controller with a couple of special ops scenes in Call of Duty MW2 (specifically Sniper Fi and O Cristo Redentor) and getting the sight to line up was difficult and frustrating since you have to apply a greater force to move the joystick, fine control is very difficult to achieve. Proportional movement is not consistent. The buttons are particularly lacking sensitivity albeit the fault may reside on a slow linkup with the PS3. Expect to hold the buttons down for a bit longer than what you would expect.Buy it only if you want to have a backup controller but be warned that it is way below the original product in terms of fine control.

A bit of a pain to reconnect
Got this as a backup since I only have 1 controller to use anyway. We sometimes use it to watch movies through the ps3. It turns itself off quite quickly compared to the original ps3 controller. Upon waking it up (say you want to pause the movie or something) it can take anywhere from 15seconds to a minute to reconnect to the PS3. Ok for the price but a bit of a PITA if you are using it in this fashion.

I play PS3 BO3 zombies and pressing L2 ,R2 buttons bit slow to trigger other than that its worth getting

Extremely slow to use and very fragile.
You get what you pay for. But it takes a large amount of time to turn on and connect compared to any other controller I've used. And it is extremely lightweight making it one fall away from shattering. I definitely will not buy again.

Turns off fast when inactive
Cheap, and easily connects to my PS3. I have not experience any connections issues so far. The only complaints I have are the controller's thumbsticks are definitely thinner than Sony's, and the controller turns off very fast when not in use. The latter may not matter to some, but it would turn off during long cutscenes and would definitely bother people using their PS3 for Netflix.Other than that, controller is great! Looks and feels like Sony's controller and works just as well.

Great
Bought this for my bf's mom who is using his old ps3 for Netflix and movies. She needed a new controller and it seemed difficult to find it anywhere but amazon has everything! Would recommend!!

Garbage
Poorly made. Brand new out of the package seems don't line up, causing the casing to not close. Not worth returning. Oh well.

Great value, I suppose!
It was a gift for someone. Packaging was adequate - nothing fancy. It arrived on time. I think I had more fun receiving a package in the mail as opposed to another bill. The gift recipients have not opened it yet. I might update this review at a later date, but probably not. I'm a bit of a slacker when it comes to stuff like this. Honestly, if I were you, I'd buy a bicycle instead.
