These posts were perfect for a temporary fence around my vegetable garden! The built in insulators for the wire were at convenient heights to keep my dogs (and other animals) out of the garden. The posts are also easy to place where they are wanted and they are sturdy enough to keep the wire taut even at the corners. Last year my Great Pyrenees used about 1/4 of the garden as an afternoon nap site. This year there are no doggie tracks inside the fence. I am well pleased.

I own a couple hundred of these. We have 160 acres or pasture with cows and horses on rotational grazing and these are a godsend. We've been using them for a couple of years now, and only one has broken (when we hit it with a tractor). The clips do break occasionally if a herd of horses hits the fence, or something, but since at each height there are actually two clips, we just use the other one.Our soil is pretty hard in the summer, or when frozen, and then we have to hammer them in, but they are designed for this possibility, so no problem. We had so many problems with poly posts shattering in freezing weather, stakes bending, couldn't stand up to hammering. These are way better!They are way cheaper, too. Only $1.79 from Tractor Supply.
