Urine, poop, vomit: it quickly dries it out and eliminates smell. Brush up with dustpan then hoover and all done. As a teacher, parent and pet owner I swear by this stuff ESPCIALLY for vomit which lingers if you try to wet and sponge carpet. This magic powder also kills most germs, avoiding disease spread.

Easy to use and has saved our brand new seagrass carpet from a cat who refuses to use a litter tray when he must be kept indoors and who has the habit of regurgitating rodents when they give him belly ache, which is on an almost weekly basis! (Good thing we love the boy!)Perhaps a little pricey, but used sparingly it will last us 2-3 months I estimate and it's certainly cheaper than replacing the carpeting! We have been shocked by how easily this "naturally stain-resistant fibre" stains ascend choose it because it sounded suitable for our needs.I wish I'd thought to research this sort of cleaning agent years ago. It might have saved the previous carpet too. It's made things a lot less stressful for us and especially when we want to take a break away and need to leave or cat in the care off our neighbour. They would also recommend it.My only word of caution is that when left overnight it caused the fibres to pale a little so I'd advise leaving it only 3-4 hours or vacuuming it up soon if it dries before that.

We use this at school and it's brilliant. With a small grandchild I thought it would be useful to have at home too.
