I have been using this for the past few years and it is by far the best nascent iodine product I have ever used. As a person with an underactive thyroid, I notice such a difference in my energy levels when taking this. This was the first nascent iodine I tried, but I have tried out of curiosity, or needing faster shipping than what was available for this specific product. It is by far the best out of all the brands I have tried.

We have been using Survival Shield X-2 for years now. Decided to try this brand because they claimed that theirs is stronger than most. 750mcg as opposed to 650mcgs from others. Considering the cost of Iodine and the sizes usually available and the amount per drop, i decided to try theirs. I purchased 8 bottles. opened it up and immediately regretted my decision. time will tell i suppose, however... just be the look of it. Survival Shield is a dark, reddish orange color, ganesha is a light amber. Okay, so just the color? nope. We take(not giving any advice here) 8 drops under the tongue 2x a day(look at how much on average Japanese get in their diet). now, i hold it for a minute or so before swallowing. Survival Shield X-2 sort of burns your tongue and under the tongue; you'll feel that effect/change almost all day on your tongue or mouth(not burning all day but as if it was slightly burned). not only that, but survival shield tastes strong of iodine, its a heavy flavor. Ganesha, doesn't really burn at 8 drops and tastes very pleasant, sort of light and a bit watery compared to X-2. so, I guess its back to dropping more cash on iodine as soon as Survival Shield X-2 is back in stock and on sale of course because nowadays, money is tight. I should have tried one bottle first but, i jumped and made a mistake. I will update if i notice anything else or if it seems okay or better but just based on those few details, i choose to go with a different brand or back to X-2.

I tried this because of the low price, and was pleasantly surprised. This is the sweetest, best tasting iodine I've ever had. This iodine gives you energy you can feel. Will order again. Highly recommended for fans of iodine.

I have low thyroid and didn't want to go on thyroid medication. I've been doing 4 drops a day of this Nascent Iodine and my thyroid readings have been fine.

This is the worst. Do not buy. It is so thick with glycerin it clings to bottle, dropper and YOU. It is like they took pure glycerin and added a few drops of iodine. Does not come out in drops but globs. No where on label where it is from. No company address or name. Looks like homemade labels. Just BEWARE
