This product works great if I have my USB drive unplugged, but if I plug in the USB drive (thereby using both USB ports plus the HDMI port) the keyboard/mouse (mainstream logitech) worked intermittently. This of course, destroys the entire purpose and point of this product. I have not tried the Ethernet port.

This is probably why my external hard drive won't display when attached to this adapter: " If the device connected is over 5W, please connect with an external power adapter." Problem is, neither this adapter nor my portable hard drive support an external power adapter. The adapter works fine for just a mouse. But I don't need it for just a mouse -- I can plug that directly into the Surface Pro. I haven't tried its other capabilities -- but I'm a little afraid to. It got awfully hot just plugged in with the mouse receiver in it. I need to see if I can return it.

Worked great at first but then stopped working. I need two USB ports for my Surface Pro4 and this worked great for a while but now it's not worth a nickel. It cost me about $2 per month to use it and now I need to buy something better. I'm getting the LYFNLOVE Aluminum 3-Port USB 3.0 Hub with RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet Port LAN Network Adapter for Surface Pro 4. I think I'll have better luck if I spend a few dollars more.

Did not get what was advertised. This is NOT for my laptop, wrong type of USB port.

Absolutely covered all the ports I needed to expand on my Surface Pro 4. Especially the SD and TF memory card slots. No problems using, plug and play! I have no slow down issues copying from my tablet's internal memory, nor from my network or through the internet downloads.

Strong, portable. However, I wish it has a usb-c port. I love the suface pro 6 very speedy! and tge adapter, but why not a USB-C port.Would have given it 5 stars if it had one!

Delivered as promised and performs exactly as described. Perfect fit to my Surface Pro 6.

Works just as I’d expected it to, just plug it in and you’re good to go! The case on my surface does slightly push it out a bit on the bottom but it’s still completely functional, just keep that in mind if you’re ordering one and happen to have a case that covers part of the side area.

In most cases, all I really wanted was one extra USB port. This little dongle works great so far, (don't know about longevity, but hopefully it will hold up) and I love that it can be powered by microUSB, since the SP3 USB port is so underpowered. I was able to copy several GB of data from a USB Blu Ray drive to an external HDD directly with no problems, which is why for the price it gets 5 stars even though it's not the most precision-manufactured piece I've seen. Great if you don't need built-in MiniDP to HDMI or USB to Ethernet since this is smaller and lighter. (I have separate cables for those on the odd occasion I need them).
