Genuine Honda 08798-9002 Urea Grease

I had a terrible squeak coming from the clutch fork, where the fork pivots on a head. Previously I used liqui moly LM47 grease which is a molybdenum grease. However the squeak kept coming back with time, and when the weather was hot and dry. I could feel the resistance in the clutch pedalI found out this grease is recommended by Honda for pivot points. I tried it and its mostly silent. The squeak may sometimes be there, but I believe its because previously the pivot point went dry. Now the surface isnt smooth. But this honda grease made things smooth, no resistance in the clutch pedal. At the time of writting this review it has been 40 deg C (104F) the last few days. I used this on my clutch replacement work on my Honda and I can easily tell that it lubed everything up perfectly. Smooth quiet action from slave cylinder to fork and bearings. Like new. It doesn't take much of this so I also used some on car door hinges, hood release etc. This really is a great grease. Worth every penny.

This is a high temperature in lubricating grease for the calipers it's important that you have the calipers moving freely on the brake shoe

Last time was lazy, used generic high temp grease on the s2000 clutch slave cylinder, replacement part was smoother but not perfect, a few months later removed and reinstalled with the OEM lube and yes the actuation was smoother and engagement less hangup, the oem do not substitute...

Can’t beat OEM Honda products. Great for transmission throw out bearing and fork.

This is my second tub of this as I lost the first one. This is a specialty grease that has some good uses although not a ton. It won't break down for a long time, is pretty tacky, and essentially inert so so it's good around plastic and rubber etc... I like it primarily for lightly greasing the output shaft and throw out bearing on manual transmissions but it's also good on electrical switches or plastic moving parts that are pretty sealed up and don't get contaminated with water or other greases. It is mostly used in sealed for life / sealed for long time applications. If this is helpful to you please click it.
