Great Mouse/Keyboard Option
Another PC Gamer checking in and wanting to give feedback: I believe I have some experience which may provide relevant answers to mentioned problems by other reviews.First off, the Eagle Eye product is fantastic in my opinion and the best option I have found so far. I own both an Xbox360 and a PS3 and there are differences how the Eagle Eye products perform! So keep reading:1) The Eagle Eye AdapterThe setup is very easy: Insert CD, punch in the keys you'd like for the according function/button, hit "send" and the software programs your eagle eye adapter for you.The adapter works very well and I have not experienced any dropped sensitivity/rate throughout gaming like other people have. This may be because I use a quality mouse: a Logitech G500. I once tried a cheaper mouse and it performed far less well. The responsiveness suffers greatly with a cheaper mouse and this may be an issue other people have had. Using a cheap wired keyboard from Walmart has worked just as well as a more expensive gaming keyboards so there is no difference there. The G500 works PERFECT with the Eagle Eye, I highly recommend it!I previously have tried 2 different nun chuck + mouse setups (AIMON XBElite & FragFX) before and they both were garbage compared to the true quality mouse + keyboard feel us PC Gamers are used to.I have NOT used the XFPS setup but based on reviews across the internet I am not tempted to because the Eagle Eye adapter gets better ratings throughout the board and I am very satisfied with my experience.2) PS3 vs. XboxI own both systems and prefer the PS3 in many ways. However, most of my local friends own Xboxs so I do a lot of gaming on it. A HUGE problem with the Xbox is that it simply is far inferior to the PS3. Leaving all the system vs. system arguments aside, let's look at issues specific to this product:Starting off with the connection, you DO NOT NEED a wired controller for PS3, but you do for Xbox. So the product itself is not at fault, unfortunately it is a system issue. The Eagle eye adapter (PS3 version) connects flawlessly to the PS3 system while for the Xbox360 (Xbox version), you need a wired controller and the connection can sometimes be a pain. This is a system issue IMO and NOT the adapters fault. In regards to headsets, again, the issue is the Xbox system: While with PS3 you can use any USB headset and therefore go on with your gaming, the Xbox requires Xbox specific headsets (which plug into the controller)...so if you are not using a Xbox controller you are SOL with wired headsets. I have not yet found/tried a wireless Xbox headset. I understand the controller connected headsets are great when playing split screen but who honestly wants to share a screen & experience lag anyway ;)Overall I have been extremely satisfied with this product and as mentioned I own 2, one for Xbox and one for PS3. It works better on my PS3 setup (plus I can use my USB headset) but also on Xbox it works fantastic...although I still have to figure out the headset dilemma.PS: My 2 best scores on Xbox so far was 38-11 and 38-6 back to back but I usually float around the 25-10 range

So far it is a failure
I bought this because I am a PC Gamer. I have tried to use controllers for a long time, such as sidewinder for the PC and Xbox and other game consoles that friends owned. Just cannot seem to get the hang of it. I do get some scores, some hits, but so often I over react to a sudden appearance of someone around a corner and end up shooting the clouds or the ground.I had a difficult time to get it setup, but it seemed like it was going to work. I then read through the instructions and saw that only wired keyboards and mice are usable. The stores are getting very lean on the wired versions of keyboards and mice. I found a mouse. The system actually works fine with a wireless keyboard. The wired mouse does not work though.I got the Xbox because my friend has a team to work with. We use the chat capability constantly to direct the team where needed. This system has no provision for the headset.I plan to fiddle around with it, visit the forum if there is one and see what I had done wrong. I will also see if I can find a list of devices that it does work with. It has a great potential for me, so I am going to keep trying. At this point it only gets one star. I may be able to update this in the future, I will give it an honest effort.Update: 24 January 2012Found the compatibility list. I just happen to have ordered a mouse for my PC that was on the list. Partially. The list has the Razer Naga on the list, I bought the Razer Naga Epic. It does in fact work. Now working on calibration issues. It was too slow at first. I increased the sensitivity, a process that is not impossible, but a bit difficult. Going back and forth got it stable and usable. I tried to increase the sensitivity, but it then became jagged and froze now and then. I will have to continue with the more advanced calibration dealing with dead spots I think.

Works but not great.
Item does work but seems to lose rate of turn settings mid-game. Also, if playing on TV size screen (anything about about 24") the rate of turn cant be set high enough to really work well. Constantly have to lift and reset mouse. If you move to a small PC screen could be ok. Overall not something I ended up using due to its limitations.

Buyer beware (few things to know)
So...as you have probably read from other reviews, This product performs very well once you take the time to properly calibrate it. With a little bit of trial and error I was able to fine tune it into to near perfection.Buyer Beware:Must have a wired xbox360 controller (a wireless one with a play and charge adapter wont work)Not all devices will work. Most will, but only a few are "officially" approved by the company. (I have a wow cataclysm mouse from steel series that works great)******Deal breaker for me****** Does not support headsets. (which is why I give it a 3 outta 5) The only way to chat with this device is to use a wireless headset that syncs with the xbox and does not require a controller. If you have a normal headset and feel like upgrading, i believe you can pick one up for $30, which isn't too bad. Unless, like me, you have a high end 5.1 surround sound headset that you never play without. This wasn't something i came across when reading reviews (and i did read a few) so here is your heads up.If this supported headsets i would keep it. As it is, I am returning it and will be spending an extra $20 on the xim edge
