I'm disappointed with this kit. The design and thread colors are nice but the stamped pattern is difficult to follow in several places. A couple of the colors appear to have bled together and in many areas they are not lined up. So I've had to refer to the included paper chart. I'm not sure if you can tell from my picture but the colors are up to half a square off. And they're not consistent! So I can't assume the pattern is 1/4 square off. Lol. The last kit I bought was precision printed. I only had to refer to the paper chart once! I'm disappointed with the stamped pattern of this kit but I'll still finish the project. I'm hopeful it will look nice when I'm done. I will say that a couple people seem confused. The colors of stamped patterns on cross stich kits don't usually match the actual thread. They are more distinguishable so they're easy to follow. Additionally, you are supposed to soak the cloth after you finish as the lines and stamped pattern will wash off. Fyio as I haven't gotten to that stage yet. I bought another kit by this company and will check it carefully before I start!

This is my first time to ever cross stitch. This kit has been fun to do with just the right amount of difficulty for me. The only issue I have is that one of the needles broke in half within 5 minutes of use. The second one has no issue.

I've haven't done cross stitch in years so I thought a beginning kit made sense to get back into it. I love the flowers in the picture and the printed flowers do look exactly the same. My problem is that the canvas, which isn't actual canvas, has blue graph lines all through it. That isn't shown in the picture which has a plain background. The directions aren't really directions. It says on the front of the package double strand but it doesn't say anywhere in the directions how many strands per color.

The pattern is very well printed it took me a while to figure out matching the colors with the pattern, but for something relaxing to work on l definitely recommend this.

It came out beautiful. You will need a sturdy hoop, like a quilting hoop, a pair of sewing scissors, a silicone or partly rubber thimble, and a good source of light. I would also recommend some floss bobbins, a seam ripper and a few extra needles. This was my first cross-stitch project, and I finished it fine, but I probably should have chosen a smaller, simpler first project just in case I didn't really enjoy it. Fortunately, I found it very relaxing.

Nothing. Stamped colors do not match the color codes. Do not buy.

I ordered this as a gift for my grandmother and it was not at all as described.The coloring is not true to the picture or the provided threads.My grandmother (86 y/o) has been doing this type of craft for a very long time and she is having an awful time with this and has just decided to quit.

this will seriously take years to complete but i am up for the challenge. 5ft by 3.5 ft all needing stitching. 100 stitches per square inch. took 1.5 hours to do 200 cross stitches. at this rate it will take nearly 5 years to complete. this is the second one similar to this that i have done and it took 5.5 years but looks beautiful and it is going to be a family heirloom!!!!

I have sent an email to your Maydear acct regarding the fact that I am 1/2 way completed & have run out of various colors. I did break the 6 strands down to do the cross stitch as I usually would, but have still run out of #03, #05, #11(A), #12(B), #23(N), I am an accomplished cross stitcher so believe me this would not be considered my fault. NOT VERY IMPRESSED. Also the blue 10st lines crossing this PC of artwork in both directions do NOT show on the original purchase and ruin the PC. I feel like I'm supposed to go out & purchase 5 white skeins & backstitch over the quite prominent blue grid lines. IS THERE A WAY TO GET RID OF THESE BLUE GRID LINES WHICH MAKE THIS LABOR OF LOVE AN EYESORE & ARE MOST DISTRACTING. I MIGHT ADD THEY "DO NOT" SHOW THESE LINES AT THE PURCHASE STAGE. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.

I really liked the canvas and how it is clearly marked to indicate colour. (Not really important but I am a bit confused by the outer background stitches as the pattern shows them as half stitches but in the photo they are clearly full?). The main issue I have is with the floss. I am used to working with DMC or similarly high quality floss and this does not compare to it at all. If I had not already begun the project I would consider returning it. As it is, I will either re-kit it with better floss or I will give it away.

Great product! Came quickly, had more than enough thread and was easy to wash when done. Would recommend for new or experienced cross stitchers
