Great little gadget. Bought this year as we had a bumper crop of cherries from our tree (despite the blackbirds, who had quite a few!). As the cherries were very ripe & juicy there was a bit of spatter but for a first attempt it did a brilliant job.

I don't do many reviews but I felt that this cherry pitter deserved one. Simple to operate and with a locking tab so that it can be put away closed. Place a cherry in the bowl, squeeze the lever, the stone pops out the bottom and you turn the pitter over and drop the cherry into a bowl. Simples. I did a large bowl of freshly picked cherries in about 15 minutes.

It does what it says , good piece of kitchen equipment.

With cherries being in season I really needed one of these products and after reading other peoples reviews I got this one and could not be more pleased. It does the job every time with hardly any mess every stone came out whole and left a perfect cherry behind. Would recommend to anyone thinking about purchasing.

Great product. Very easy to use and does the job exceptionally well on cherries. Easy to use one handed and easy to clean. Little bit of juice spatter, but not as messy as cutting cherries with a knife to get stones out!

Well, this has made my life easier. Admittedly I don't often need to use it! But for those rare times you do - it's amazing. Speedy, efficient, no more boring and time consuming putting. Wham bam strawberry (or cherry, in this case) jam.

Pretty useless tool. I doubt I will use it again. Nicely made, great design but hopeless at pitting unless you like to remove the stone yourself after pitting.
