Driver right hand side Heated wing door Silver mirror glass with backing plate #C-SHY/R-LRFR98 [Clip On]

This part didn't fit a 2001 Freelander 1 with folding heated mirrors because the plastic fixing on the rear is too small to clip over the mirror operating mechanism. Also the glass was smaller than the original Land Rover part, didn't have a plastic surround and the heating element connectors were too close to the centre point. As it was too much agro to return it, I unmounted the glass from the new unit (using a hot air blower to soften the adhesive) and swapped it onto the original Land Rover base after removing the broken glass. Can't recommend buying it for these reasons.

sold to fit my reg freelander 1 2001,mirror smaller than original one new backing plate has no resemblance to the one that come off .broke old mirror which only had a small crack in it trying to take it off ,had to try and fit new one ,after lots of cutting with stanley knife ended up gluing it on ,wish i hadn't have bothered ,will spend more and buy genuine .

Although the right year did not attach very satisfactory

This item does not fit my 2006 Land Rover, Freelander as advertised. Complete waste of money.

Iselected the model for my car, the connectors for the heated element were too small, but no big deal to improvise attachment However the mounting plate position was too low, meaning it appeared to click into place but seemed secure and moved when the adjuster controls were used. However the first bump the car went over, the unit dropped out and broke. Waste of time and money.
