Great value but tricky to assemble
You gotta have patience with the assembly of this key fob. It took three people trying and some time to put together the spring mechanism. But when you save a few hundred dollars, it's well worth it. Very happy with the end results. Just have to stay with it and don't give up!

***Works well for 2012 kia soul***
So ive seen many different reviews on this key fob shell. i used this key fob shell for a 2012 kia soul. my old key fob rubber keys and the plastic part that held the key were broken. So i removed the roll pin that came on the replacement key fob after some difficulty(dont get discouraged). I made a make shift roll pin since i did not have one and replaced the blank key it came with, with the one from the old key fob. After referencing youtube on a how to video i used some needle nose pliars to open the new key and put in my old circuit board from old key fob i will admit there was some play where the circuit board layed but when i sealed it back up it worked well and looked great. Wife was extremely happy. Dealer ship would have charged me. $ 350 roughly for new keyfob after expensive on my part i saved rougly $320 after buy a tool to knock out the roll pin.

Not great quality
I am extremely disappointed. Everytime I turn the ignition the key fob wants to split open. Maybe it was just faulty, but based on my experience I wouldn't recommend.

Works great if your guts are in good shape from old fob.
It did not fit together just right, the button does not work to make the key pop out, but still very happy just to have all my buttons. I noticed when taking apart that another piece was missing on mine, it is a very small plastic piece that helps push buttons connect to make lick and unlock work. Trying to find a way yo make wirk without it.

Super affordable and easy to change!
My kid ripped off the buttons off my keys so I couldn’t lock or unlock my car with my remote for weeks because I didn’t have money to go to the dealership and get a new one! I found this one and my husband switch the button only (didn’t have to program it) and it was super affordable and easy to do!!!

Not bad for the price
It’s looks just like the oem key fob and functions properly. Only problem I have is that it falls apart when I turn the key to start my car.

such savings
the rubber part of my key got damaged over time (5 years of use) and the unlock button feel off. kia wanted 270 dollars to replace the key and reprogram it. instead I took a part the old key removed the key and mother board and placed them in the new ($7.49) shell and works like new.

Not a perfect fit
Purchased this for my 2011 Kia Soul. Had to use original key as the blank that came with the fob wouldn't work. The case doesn't stay closed all the time, I have to be careful when turning off the car or it will come apart. And the key will not pop up like the original when you push the silver button. Have to use your finger to pry it up. It works in a pinch and a definite cost savings but not a complete match.
