Apples and Pears...
...have always gone together and this Morrisons The Best Bramley Apple & Pear Chutney is no different.I enjoyed this chutney with my cheese and biscuits.Good consistency and bursting with the flavour of the Bramley apple followed by a hint of pear none of which overpowered the taste of the mature cheddar cheese. Fantastic chutney!
Wow. Just wow. I am not a big fan of chutney but this is fantastic! Tastes so nice as a dip or spread. I used some in my cooking and it really adds to the dish! One of the ways I used it was in a sausage roll. I mixed sauteed onion and garlic into the sausage meat, rolled onto the pastry, put a dollop of this chutney down one whole side of the sausage, wrapped up, cut into big bitesize pieces, sprinkled with poppy seeds...the result is just a taste explosion that is thanks to this beautiful chutney!
