Amtgard Tested
I bought these for amtgard competitive medieval combat. So far they have held up to 60 hours of hard combat spread out over 2 months with no issues. I get a lot of compliments on them and will be buying a second / third pair just in case something ever happens to them. They are 100% worth it and can really take a hit while looking good. Fit very well and comfortable.

Decent for the price
Honestly for the price i knew these were going to be lower quality than the image. While true, i am pleasantly surprised by the quality as a faux leather product. Its a little stiff and needs to be worn in but after that these will make a decent metal show or renn faire piece.

Fit well, great for RenFest!
I was a touch hesitant at first to purchase this product, considering that the few reviews that are out there cited that the bracers were more on the small side, but considering the price I decided to give it a try anyways. I can't say exactly how this would fit on the average man's arms/wrists, as I am a 5 foot 6 inch woman; HOWEVER with that in mind I would definitely say that this product was worth the buy.I bought the #1 Brown bracer with the two straps and was pleasantly surprised when they came in. They were a little stiff at first, but after wearing them to a six hour outing to a local RenFest plus an all day costume party at my workplace for Halloween they have developed a noticeable give so that it makes it a lot easier to bend the wrists than they were at first. The colors in the pictures is pretty accurate and I would say very close to what it looks like when you actually receive it.As for the size itself, I wore this with a LARP shirt that had more baggy sleeves than the ones pictured in the photos, so I had a little bit of "packing" so to speak between my skin and the bracers. Even so, I was able to buckle them up nice and firmly with little to no moving around through the day, the buckle at the wrist I was able to fasten at the third to last hole in the strap, and the buckle on the forearm closest to the elbow I was able to buckle to the second to last hole in the strap.Overall I would say that I'm very pleased with this product, but I would definitely recommend that others measure their arms and compare it to the size chart in the last photos for the #1 Brown. Speaking from the perspective of a woman with a medium/heavy figure these bracers were perfect and suited my needs wonderfully.

Gauge of leather is a lot less than what is portrayed
When you look at the photos that is saddle grade leather approximately 3/8 1/4 of an inch thick etc but when you get the product it's only about an eighth of an inch thick and the stitching is not the leather stitching but material like clothing stretching all the roller buckles seem to be all right but because they're so thin they won't do what I expected thim to do, I was hoping I could use them as risk supports considering that I have issues with my hands etc, if they were subtle grade leather as portrayed you could take a nice strike and they would be stiff enough to be a good bracing for your wrist while using heavy battle ax etc but when I got them they're more costume than they are actual leather gauntlets and for the 35 bucks I could have a pair made better a lot better than this and spend no more than $20 more for them from a saddle shop in town but I was hoping that for the price they would be as they portrayed them now if they were giving out what they were showing in the photos then there would be no issue whatsoever because design is good it was great it's a little hard to buckle up because I have issues with arthritis in my wrist and fingers but there again if you're not planning to put them toreal use for any kind of support or protection gaming etc then I guess they'd be fine you know but I'm not looking to have decorations I'm looking for tools that are not only stylish but useful but other than that I'm going to be returning them simply because for 35 bucks they're just not going to withstand what I need them to,

Better than expected
Bought these for cosplay costume and they looked the part and held up with the vines I wrapped around them.

Foam, not faux leather.
Honestly this doesn’t even look like the piece pictured. Or even some of the pieces others have posted. Perhaps the manufacturer swapped to cheap EVA Foam at some point because this in no way shape or form would survive actual combat like one review suggests. It’s flimsy and feels ready to tear or rip at the slightest of strains. Even the bands that hold it together are made out of the EVA foam like material so when you’re strapping it on it feels like it’s about to rip in half. At half the price this would be a fair product but not at $30+.That aside it does look ok for something quick or a cosplay that won’t see much movement.

Quick and easy armored look, needs a bit of DIY
Bought these for a last minute Renn Faire Costume, they were a decent price (considering the hardware included) and came prime so it seemed like a decent value. I do a lot of crafts and costuming so I knew if they came out looking plain I could make them work.I was pleasantly surprised with the product as it came, its a decently thick vinyl, with legit metal buckles. it fit well except for some gaping on the hand piece, and some overlap between the hand and the wrist that reduced wrist mobility.I ended up using scissors to trim the hand piece to fit my hands (they are fairly small) and free up the wrist where it was bunching. I also used some black oil paint to weather and add dimension to the gauntlets to make them look more realistic and give them some life.Overall I'd say they are pretty good, I'm fairly happy with how they turned out. If you are crunched on time, or not skilled with leather work then these will work well for your costuming needs.

Great!!
I got them since they were the largest I could find and the fit and feel great! They do pinch the littlest bit in the gap between the wrist BUT put fabric or gloves! (which is what I'm doing)Or legit anything and it's no problem at all!Again really like these, they're really well done and will probs last me pretty long! 👍👍

Good looking braces but back is open
Braces look good but don’t wrap around the wrist completely
