Sturdy wheel, Easy to mount, Rolls as expected, Holds at least the rated pounds
The wheel was easy to mount on a 4 x 6 inch skid. I used something similar to lag screws, about 5/16 of an inch in diameter, to mount the plate(s). The mounting screws do not come with the product. A wooden porch that weighed an estimated 900 pounds was moved about 200 feet. Two wheels were screwed onto the bottom of 4" x 6" skids that were supporting the porch--mounted slightly forward from the midpoint of the skid. A tractor with forks was hitched to the porch for the pushing action. The wheels worked flawlessly. The wheels do not have air which relieves the user from having to pay attention to how much the tires are inflated. The wheels just never go flat and support the rated 500 pounds--and probably more. The surface was packed limestone. The wheels moved nicely along the limestone pack. The wheels would have trouble if the surface was loose gravel 3 or more inches thick. After moving the porch I removed the wheels for future use in building a rolling work table. The smell of the rubber tires was not an issue. I was using the product outside. There is a little smell of curing rubber which dissipates with the passage if time. These wheels are constructed properly, hold up properly, mount properly, and roll properly. I was impressed. High quality at an affordable price.

Great, heavy duty casters for uneven terrrain!
These casters are absolutely awesome... I built a solar rack out of heavy old pallet wood to replace one that had grown too small for my needs. (Plus, it got rid of some junk wood from the property!)But, with my old set of two fixed 5-inch wheels and a pivot point, the thing was nearly impossible to move as needed to track the sun manually. I was a bit wary of the price for these casters--when a set of four 5-inch casters costs as much as one of these--but I decided that a bigger, rubberized wheel would be better for the desert sand and rocks out here. At the last minute, I decided to get 4, instead of using two and a pivot.I am glad I did. With one of these casters at each corner, the rack moves so easy, far easier than my old rack with half the panels and much less than a quarter of the weight. The wheels do have an odor when they arrive, as mentioned previously. It was not too overwhelming at first, but after a few hours, the smell started bothering me with the package inside the house. I had to move them outside. These things are heavy duty, with a nice, thick steel plate. The pivot has a grease fitting to keep the casters spinning, but none for the wheel bearings. They should be sealed well enough to work, anyway. My only concern is how they will hold up over time in the sun, which is absolutely brutal here in West Texas. If i get a year or two out of these, I will be happy.

Good quality, but limited by narrow width
I used 2 of these fixed, and 2 swivel, casters to upgrade my garage workbench. Previously I was pushing it around on 3” casters which were fine for inside the garage on concrete, but struggled to traverse the weatherlip, and didn’t like rolling on asphalt. These wheels are a great upgrade and handle the asphalt fine, as well as the 1” tall lip at the garage door. That said, I wish I had gotten something a little wider. These are about half the width of a normal hand truck tire. If I push the workbench out of the way, into the yard they sink in - even if the ground is dry. The mounting plate is also a little small to be able to get bolts to drive straight in, but that can be managed with a bit extension.

These are great for any heavy use activity. They roll effortlessly across all surfaces. I put them on my Weber grill
I have a Weber grill where the front wheels have failed. This is a brand-new grill and despite the thousand dollar price costs of these grills, they put a $10 plastic wheel that will not withstand any rough areas or movements. If you're like me, the grill has wheels, and it's meant to move. I take it over a patio area and often will take it to a different location in order to make it more accessible. The end result are wheels that will fail. I sent Weber a picture of the wheels deforming the plastic and breaking. They sent me the same replacements. This is not the answer. The replacement wheels are small 3/8 inch rod attached to a cheap plastic rim. The wheels themselves on the grill are hard plastic and not even rubber. These are heavy-duty. I attach them to the under surface using a 3/8 inch bolt and a large washer to distribute the forces across the bottom plate. They are, to use the vernacular, bulletproof. Now I'm in the process of getting the swivel wheels for the front. I wish they were cheaper. I do understand that putting $70-$80 with the wheels on the grill would increase the cost. It should be an option.

Rolls over most anything, very durable
I'll preface this with I work in a hangar, there are bolts, nuts, metal shavings, little rocks, extension cords, rivets, zip ties, anything you can think of, on the floor. I bought these to replace my original wheels on my toolbox that gets rolled across said hangar every day. They are excessive as far as weight capacity, but I bought them for the rubber material so they're not constantly picking up nuts and rivets that would embed themselves in my old plastic castors. These ones roll over most anything, i.e. small bolts, extension cords, safety cable knurls, the only things I have found they get stuck on are zip ties, ironically. I almost need a beeper on my box because it rolls so quietly now, and yes, they do have a mild chemical (new rubber) smell when you first open the bag, I think it took all of 30 seconds for the smell to dissipate. At least to me, and I think anyone who actually needs heavy duty castors or rubber/treaded castors will agree, these are well worth the 20 bucks a wheel.

Solid polyurethane
Unlike other flat free tires that have this same design these are very hard and solid throughout. Purchased 4 to make a cart/wagon. Will most likely be the last set I will ever need

Excellent caster whell
The wheel is made of solid rubber and there is a grease fitting to keep the swivel spinning freely. The structure is very strong. I will buy more since the price is excellent.
