Tetra-Teknica XFFZDP-BLK Lapel & Headset Microphone Windscreen, Color Black, One Dozen Pack

I needed a new mic cover on my Lightspeed Zulu 3 headset and these seemed like they might work. They turned out a little smaller than the factory units, but it is possible to get them installed and they do cover the mic. Time will tell but they are tight enough that it is possible they will stay in place better than the factory unit. I have had the factory muff come off several times - the last time I could not find it so I had to find a replacement. These seem OK and are much cheaper than the factory units.

This is much larger than I expected, and about five times larger than the windscreens that came with my Audio Technica PRO88W-R35 Wireless Lavalier System with ATR3350mW Omnidirectional Mic, 170 MHz. I'll give it a try and let you know how it works, but this may be too large for my intended use.They arrived in great shape. Nothing was crushed or pinched. They are good quality, and will certainly do the job.While they work, they are very large for a lavalier. I am very impressed the seller is now selling a more appropriately sized windscreen, see their comment below. I bought these for my Interphone F5 motorcycle communication headset as the original wind protector fell off and was lost. I had to cut and glue the new one into place as the size wasn't quite right but they really do the trick, communication is much clearer now. Plus I have a few back ups in case this one goes missing.

Since moving to working from home, I've been using my USB headsets both for meetings and for recording training videos. With the videos, I wanted to remove the sibilants and pops that usually crop up when recording my voice and these have helped tremendously. Considering how many you get for what you pay, this is an incredible bargain.They are a perfect fit for my headsets and I have recommended them to my colleagues if they want to have a slightly cleaner sound on their voice.

I have 3 fairly decent headsets which I use constantly (one at a time) during my business day, I also have a dog that gets bored and finds pleasure in chewing the ear covers and mic covers on these headsets ( my fault for leaving where he can get at them) - Not wanting to toss the headsets I purchased the Tetra-Teknica mic covers and find they actually perform as well, if not better than the oem - all my headsets are restored and put away where the dog does not have access (yet). I highly recommend these - saved me $$$ not having to purchase new headsets.

These are a perfect fit on my David Clark H10-13.4 aviation headset, and at a fraction of the price! I have not used my headset since the replacement, so I am only commenting on the fit, but I'm sure the audio quality is fine, as well. Tetra-Teknica's photo of them on the batteries helped to judge their size, since there are so many different types of these out there.

I did not purchase these microphone covers for the purpose of using them in any manner professional sound recording operations, I bought them simply because it was a dozen covers the fit my headset microphone for Dragon NaturallySpeaking. It is certainly not a bad purchase; in fact, I wrote this review out using said microphone and speech recognition software. I do not think I need to give any other manner of testimonial as to how useful they are, given that what I wrote out here (or, technically spoke out) is significantly more accurate than was without the microphone cover.$10 solution to $100 problem. it does not get better than that.

I found them to be a little too large for use with the mics I order and slightly hard to put on. Found that trimming them gives the a better fit over the mics. The do help in controlling the the background sound and wind blowing around the speakers using the mics. Would recommend them for use.

These are a good fit, should you still be using a goofy old plastic yoke headset like mine!
