Got the package as stated in a very decent time frame. I followed the instructions with cleaning the area, wiping it with rubbing alcohol three times to make sure it was clean. The 3M sticky tape on the back is great, but the paper that I had to peel off came off in millions of peices. Sort of annoying but I didn't buy a top of the line light bar, so I can't really complain. The plug in is great, I think later on I will hard wire it in, but for now I pull a fifth wheel and when that is plugged in, you won't see the bar anyway. The LEDs are really bright. So far it looks great and works great. Very happy with it.

Installed 3 weeks ago on my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 and it looks great! I suggest you plug it in before installing to ensure all LED''s work (mine all did). The adhesive tape that secures it is extremely sticky! Directions say to lightly stick it on at first so small adjustment can be made. There is no lightly sticking with this tape! It sticks like there's no tomorrow with the slightest pressure. Wash truck surface and clean with alcohol before installing. Seems to be good quality & works perfectly!Update: Over a year later and this light bar still functions perfectly. Remains firmly secured to truck and all LED's still light up. Great purchase!

Looks great on my 2011 Silverado. My only concern is how the wires are attached to the end of the light strip. There is nothing to provide any strain relief for the wires so be very careful when you handle the strip. Bending the wires too much where they attach will result in them breaking off if you're not careful. For this reason I gave a 4 star rating.For ease of installation I recommend the "CURT Manufacturing 55384 T-Connector" also available here on Amazon. This T-connector plugs into the factory towing wire harness and makes installation a breeze. I went with the light strip without backing lights so I used the 4-flat connector version of the T-connector. I'm told there is also a 5 connector version for light strips with backing LEDs.I also recommend getting a roll of "CS Hyde 3M 4941" double sided foam tape also available here on Amazon. I used this to quadruple up the strip's of mounting tape (3 extra layers) however do NOT add on to the last 3/4" or so of each end of the strip. The sheet metal on my truck overlaps at each end of where the strip mounts resulting in the ends of the strip being considerably higher than the rest of the strip if you only use the one layer of tape. Building up the tape on the inner 58-1/2" of the 60" strip makes for a more even installation across the length of the strip and makes it less likely that it will start to peal off.Once you have everything installed wrap the excess wire in some split loom tubing and you're done.12/23/2017 UPDATE: It's been 5-1/2 years ago that I installed this and in that time I have had NO issues at all with this product. Money well spent.

Lights are bright and look bad ass. The 2 cons that I have was the sticky tape did not stick too well and also inorder to make it work I had to drop the spare tire down and put it in the bed because the bar goes across the hole for where you put the release lever. But looks good

Bought this for my 2011 F-150 Crew Cab. Was shipped in a PVC pipe with foam padding on each end and end caps on the pipe. It arrived in perfect condition. Was very easy to install, worked perfectly. Took tailgate off truck per instructions but you might think about having some help putting it back. It has been up and down the highway for over 2000 miles, still working fine.It has been a year next month, light bar has had zero problems, all LED's are still working and no water inside.Time passed fast, the LED tailgate Light has been on my truck for two years now, through two winters, ice, snow and sleet. It has been in high moisture and all LED are still burning, no defects and just as bright as the first day.

I bought this product for two reasons. First being that I wanted a light on my tailgate to give the drivers behind me more information on my turning, braking etc. Second was to give my truck and aesthetic bonus. Needless to say I have gotten both. I was a bit worried that the bar wouldn't hold up but a few months in and it still shines bright with no reason to believe otherwise. The installation of the product was really easy and straight forward on my F150. The light bar was also shipped in a great tube package as it came in mint condition. I would suggest the seller, product, etc to anyone looking.

This is my first review of any product or service. Normally, I rely on others and have never bothered to share, but Rampage has motivated me.I bought the Rampage lighbar even though there were some mixed reviews. It appeared that some people had issues, while others felt everything was fine. My lightbar installed easily, but three of the LEDs went out after a month. I called Rampage customer service and their response was absurd. Their solution to my broken lightbar was for me to take the bar off, package it, and ship it to them for evaluation. Think about this.... Their answer to my problem was for me to go buy a 60" tube ( I didn't keep the original box ) and pay $15 to ship the lightbar across country. I would have spent $25 in order for Rampage to determine that my 3 LEDs were not working. I even sent them pictures of my lightbar and they didn't care.The issue of losing out on a $30 product is not the point. The main issue is that a company that sells a product does not stand behind it. They even told me that I should have bought it a retail store instead of Amazon!I am going to buy, hopefully, a better product from their competitor. LEDGLOW is a company that I have purchased from in the past and they, unlike Rampage, actually believe in quality and customer service. My recommendation for anyone looking to buy this product is to be very, very wary of my experience. You could get lucky and get something that works, or you could just be wasting your money.

After receiving the light bar and checking it out with a 9volt battery all the lights worked. I then installed the light bar on my truck only to discover that three of the lights in a row failed to light up. This was a major disappointment but I decided to leave the bar on the truck for now as taking it off is a real hassle. The light bar comes with a year warranty so I'll live with it and see how it works out in the future. If more lights fail within the next couple of months then back it goes.

Item came packaged very well and was a perfect fit for my 2005 Chevy Silverado pickup truck. The [ actual ] time spent on installation was a mere [ 8 ] minutes. Looks great and is good to go... Just remember to measure twice then stick once. A++++++.
