California Costumes Pretty as a Peacock Pet Costume Large

This is a super cute costume. I ordered a small and medium according to the size chart. When the small one arrived it was perfect for my larger dog, a regular size Jack Russell. I will have to send the medium one back and reorder an x- small for my small 12 pound Jack Russell. Thinking of taping or hot gluing some coins to the back of the feather portion to keep it from falling forward.

The costume came without the string to keep the tailfeathers straight on one side. Easy fix but frustrating

The media could not be loaded.  This product is not worth the money. It is cheaply made so the feathers don't stand up right. If it had Velcro straps or something more sturdy then a couple elastic bands to hold it onto the dog, feathers would stand up straight a lot better than they do. This is only a large and yet my 55 pound pound dog is swimming in it. The headpiece has no real way of staying on the dogs head. We have a fashion show tomorrow and my dogs will be without costumes now. It was a great idea in theory!

This costume is well made and absolutely adorable. I read the reviews of the sizes running slightly larger so even though she might have been a medium, I ordered a small. It fits perfectly. The only hitch with the costume is that the hat tended to fall over her eyes. So I just tucked under the back edge and put a few stitches in. It fits now. The costume is comfortable for her and she looks just too cute!!!

My dog got so excited he legit thought the costume was a plush toy and started trying to bite and “kill” it. Piece is still intact. 😂 And he lets me put it on him and doesn’t seem to mind (he actually appears to be showing off a bit). Too funny. Looks hilarious & very cute on both my goodest boys.

The headpiece did not fit my dog (40 lb German Shorthaired Pointer) at all - it kept getting in her eyes. The body piece fit well enough and the tail feathers did stand up nicely. However, it looks weird from behind. I returned it because of the headpiece.

The tail of this out fit is not made firm enough to stand up as it does in the picture. It fit well- true to size but without the back standing up it doesn’t really look like a peacock

Beautiful costume. Very well made. A bit big for my 25 lb mini golden doodle (we ordered a medium because her chest is 23), but sizing down wouldn’t have fit her so we made it work. So many compliments from trick or treaters! It actually stayed on her all night and I like that we could put her harness underneath and there’s a slit for it to come thru the top so we could have her secured on lead!
