Anchor WizardLow Profile Kayak

Over all great system. The crank didn't lay flat anywhere in reach on the front of my kayak, but that is my own fault for not checking my kayak before hand. Still is sturdy in place and works great. Makes river fishing WAY easier. If i could give it 1 critique, I wish it was a little quieter because when you release the anchor it can be quite loud, ultimately scaring fish away. Great buy, would absolutely recommend to any kayak fisherman. Also you can tell people its a propeller......

I have this device hooked up to a 2 lb. ball anchor. I use it on my 12ft Jackson Cuda LT kayak. It works really well to quickly raise and lower my anchor and move from one spot to another. So much easier than having to deal with handling the anchor and anchor line. Note that I use a ball type anchor instead of an anchor with hooks as then I don't have to worry about the anchor getting stuck on something which would be difficult to remove since you can't directly pull on the anchor line with having to do some major maneuvering.

Great addition to my kayak. I had to modify it to install it where I wanted it. If you use track mount for your install it is very easy to install. I used it a couple times on my new kayak and it’s awesome. You have to buy an anchor. It’s small enough that it’s out of the way and so far seems very durable. Overall it’s a fantastic addition to any fishing kayak.

Love my anchor wizard for my kayak. However it's not perfect. The automatic dropping often needs my help and I find the handle over turns frequently so I need to make sure it doesn't fall off. Also, I notice the rope already showing signs of wear after only 6-7 trips

I love this thing, purchased about 2 months ago. Works great. Easy to install and very smooth to deploy and operate. I would highly recommend for kayak fishing. Gives you a sneaky advantage when fishing while trying to remain quiet.

I use one of these on an old town sportsman and another on a Native Slayer. Great setup, easy to install, and the quick release of the anchor by just backing off the handle is the best feature out there. Hook a healthy fish near cover, a quick bump of the handle and the anchor drops and will keep you from being drug into stumps/grass/boat docks while you drag her out.Reels up nice and easy with a 5lb anchor as well. Best anchor system I’ve used.

Would definitely recommend seeking out advice from others who have already installed. I ended up putting mine a bit lower on the side of my kayak than where it needs to be, so it is hard to reach from my seat. Nobody's fault but mine. The product works great and I'll not be without one on a fishing kayak.

I use this on a Jackson Big Rig HD/FD. It is a durable and great product. I deploy my anchor quickly and when I want to move on I crank it right up and head to the next spot. This is so much better than an anchor trolley or other means.
