Worked great. 6.5” opening to accommodate a 6” vent pipe. It was mildly dented from shipping.

It works like it says.
I have had issues with high winds in WI blowing out my garage pilot light for years. I bought this one because of the reviews. Had 50mph winds and pilot still lit. It works. No more waking up to frozen cars in the garage due to no heat.

Used to cover a 6-inch downdraft range vent on the side of the house
This really cuts down on the rain intruding into the underground pipe that vents our kitchen range (Kitchen Aid downdraft range top). All I've done is placed it over the hole - I haven't even sealed it yet.

Great Product
After 13yrs in salty, windy area where I live the original came apart. DuraVent's latching system made it easy to remove the remains of the original with a little WD40 and replace with this exact same model.
