I grow a lot of plants and I use seeds from many different sources. The first thing you'll notice about these seeds is the packaging. It's fun, witty, but most importantly, informative. Each package provides clear and easy to follow instructions for planting and usually some harvesting tips. Do not let the word "silly" let you think that these guys are not serious about their seeds. The seeds are 100% non-GMO, open pollinated and not hybrid seeds. I planted about 6 different tomato seeds (from different companies) and my Sustainable Sprout seeds were first to germinate. I'll also point out that I got 100% germination. I usually plant 2-3 seeds in seed starter, they all germinated. I'll be looking to purchase the herb seed set next. P.S. Laminating the package made for super cute plant markers in the garden.

This is the second pack of variety of seeds from this brand and the only company I will buy seeds from. I hope that they will continue to expand their offer because whatever they sell, I will buy!We started with their tomato variety pack about a month ago and those did really well with a high germination rate. I’ve already germinated all these veggies and planted the radishes in the garden already after just 2 days. I didn’t realize though that radishes could go directly into the soil because they grow so quickly.All my seedlings are doing well and germinated at a high rate. The carrots are slow but they are slower than the rest to germinate. Anyway we love all their seeds, we love their packaging too and I can’t wait until we can start munching on these veggies!

I love these seeds, the packaging is adorable! We ordered them to consider using them for a program I operate that teaches kids about gardening and healthy food and these align perfectly with what we do- teach kids about healthy food and that veggies are awesome! A great way to encourage kids to eat veggies is to grow them, and the kids that I work with could not wait to plant these as the packaging is silly and fun. We look forward to purchasing a lot more from this company and can’t wait to order and plant the herb seeds that they produce too.

Loved the packages more than anything. Having luck with the lettuces, but haven’t tried the other seed. Growing hydroponically.

Just planted a couple days ago and everything is doing well! All seeds took off out of the 18 I planted!

We did all we could to make sure they would grow. I have farmed and always had a garden. I have never had such bad seeds

Got this set for my son to start his snacking garden. He really enjoyed all the little jokes and illustrations. All the directions were easy enough for my 9 yo to follow with a quick little lesson. I didn't try all the varieties of seeds yet as we're getting a late start and its just too hot. Those that we did plant however have seen about 85% sprout up in just over a week or so. He's been super excited to go out every morning and see what's come up and how things are doing. He's very excited for his harvest and has been showing his friends. It's been an easy way to get him interested in gardening and being able to give him his own space to learn in.
