Climbing stick Modification
Absolutely love it !!! I mounted it to a climbing stick. A piece of paracord between the cams keeps it quiet .

Exactly what I needed!
I installed this on the bow of my small fishing boat and can now secure and un-secure the anchor rope in an instant. So easy!

Works beautifully
Using this for my chicken coop to hold open the pop door. I am so glad I found this verses a regular tie off. It works beautifully and holds the door open easily. The only con is that you should be very careful when unscrewing the bolts to place it. The thing came apart and pieces went flying. Took awhile to get it back together too.

Good jamb cleat
Works perfectly well, but it was a bit of work to set up the mounting. Not for the mechanically challenged

Weak
These items are worthless and a waste of money. Unless you just need it to hold something really really small and that is not is the sun. This item is made of plastic, only a couple pieces are out of aluminum and the parts that should be aluminum are plastic and the thing gets brittle fast. Also this cleat has a bad design and i have a hard time getting my rope into it once i install it into position.

Flimsy
I agree with all the other negatives. Poorly designed. If you can get it to work right, DON'T trust it to hold. Very light duty. After messing with it in the garage awhile, I threw it in the trash.

Poor quality
Durable material but seems really cheap. Came bent

Spring not aligned
I took the nut off the screw as if I was about to mount this and the entire thing fell apart. The only thing holding the cams in place is the tension between the mounting bolt and the nut. When you undo the nut, if you are not holding onto this tightly the spring inside the cam unwinds and the entire assembly falls apart. Not a great first impression. I just don’t want to ever have to deal with this issue. Maybe I’ll look into one of those graded rope holders like the slot style ones. No moving parts.

I ordered 2 of these cams from same seller, one the spring sprung! And One failed under weight releasing the rope.I do not recommend and wish I could return them both for a refund. We didnt manage to use them until after the 30days
