Best I've used.
I have used a lot of this type of chain. This is best quality, welded seams. Be nice if offered in a little larger link size to fish 16 gauge wire through smoothly. Light came with 18 so worked fine.

Great speaker wire!
This is pure copper and its manufacture is actually regulated, as opposed to copper-clad aluminum speaker wire.It's also cheaper. This is great!

Yes, it works as speaker wire.
Wanted to replace 1980s Monster Cable speaker wires, the plastic sheathing of which had become sticky and deteriorating, to connect my 1980s NAD receiver to my 1980s Polk monitors. This worked perfectly (and in fact the NAD owner's manual says to use "common lamp cord.") It is a little bit stiff when first taken from the spool, but working it a bit loosens the stiffness. The manufacturer clearly knows the wire business, ranging from utility/industrial applications down to household uses, which provides some peace of mind that it is a quality product at a more reasonable price than wires marketed for audio/home entertainment.

NOT the Best Speaker Wire
Everybody knows 15 gauge lamp cord makes good speaker wire. Not this stuff! The copper comes pre-corroded and NOT marked for polarity. Not marked for polarity?? Such silliness should be against the law!

Its saved the day!
After going to several home improvement retailers and lighting shops, I found this on Amazon and it saved the day.The only 2 things that could have made it better was understanding the thickness of this wire and that it was not the same as the one I was replacing (it was thicker), so it had to be splices in a more visible area. Then understanding the stiffness of the wire ( it was stiffer that the wire cable It was replacing). But since it saved me $$$$ because I really needed to make this chandelier work I am happy to over look those details that I was not aware of. Also, threading the cable every other link helps so that it would not overly stiffen the chain.

Good cable
Used it to hang a Moose antler chandelier where I had to extend the chain, so I ran this cable the whole way.

16 gauge 2 conductor stranded wire
This wire is great for replacing lamp cords and such. I would recommend this product. It was delivered on time and as advertised.
