It arrived in plenty of time and just as well as we had been experienced many outage where we live. It is extremely bright and easy to manage with three light settings. It was packaged well and has been a great boon to our lives, especially when things suddenly go dark!Having taken up Carp fishing I needed a no nonsense light that would not blind me nor put the fish off feeding. The light is just enough bright, and do not make you uncomfortable. I am happy to say that on a very dark night when there is no light at all and you have packed up all your gear loaded yourself up with everything leaving one finger to hang this light on and you are ready to trek through the undergrowth back to where you hope your car is you press the button and all around is lit up so you can see those deep puddles of water that you walked into on the way down to the swim, all in all a very good and well put together lantern, it is very bright in high light and in the power saver mode you can hit that when you have set your lines out and are waiting for that first bite, all you have to do is press the button which flashes by the way so you can see where it is to press, and then land that Big Carp, rechargeable little camping light for the tentand outside.Overall, the solar charging system is very impressed me. And the Build quality of this lantern is excellent, performance is great with the 2 “S” hook, which are great for carrying it or hanging it up inside your camper, tent, outhouse or simply placing it on the picnic table.

We're expecting a lot of company in a few weeks, and some are staying in our new camper, I got these lights to hang on the awning to brighten up the area for them. And also of course for when we go camping,. First of all they came so quickly! We liveaway from any metropolitan area and they still arrived in 3 days! These lamps are so nice, they are small enough to store anywhere and so unexpectedly bright! I plan to hang one on each end of the awning of the camper and these little guys will light up the whole area. I tried them in the house too and one will light up a whole room, so perfect for power outages. I'd definitely recommend these and plan to get at least two more.Update. We had these out lighting the path for company and the on button for one has gone all wonky. And now the lamp doesn't work. No idea what happened. Someone tried to turn it on and the button slipped out of place.

When I first received this package, I thought that it was going to be a shabby product due to the shabby packaging. Boy was I ever wrong! The quality of this go lite lantern is top notch. The plastic casing is a thick bright green and the product is chargeable 4 different ways viaSolar, usb cable, 220v plug in, or rechargeable batteries. This lantern is a light weight, compact design and it comes with an attached carrying handle and an "S" hook for hanging the lantern up in a tent, on a branch, or in an RV. I have taken the lantern in my backpack and even on my bike for night time lighting. I would buy it again. I would love to someday see this lantern in an optional aluminum casing as over time the plastic will wear out. However, for the money I think I got a pretty darn good deal.

I went on a two week backpacking trip with a friend who did not have a stationary light so I bought this without much thought behind it. I left it on the same sill I charge my older lamp on and forgot about it for a few weeks. Day 1 the light flickered for half a second and died. Day 2 it rained on us and it FILLED up with water. We gave it a second chance Day 3 but the light, again, only flickered. We took a detour and went by a campground to toss it in a bear-proof dumpster. I wish I had at least saved it to return.

This is a rip off. It worked great out of the box and I was able to recharge it once. After that, it never worked again from the solar charger. I have left it in the full sun for several days straight and it will not recharge. Lamp now only works on batteries which kills the point of it. I've found other solar lamps here on amazon which work beautifully and are not only easy to recharge but it takes less than an hour. This one is junk. Look elsewhere if you want a light that is powered by the sun. I was unable to return the item or contact the seller. Beware.

+Brightness was decent+Like the idea of a mobile, solar powered USB charging port for phones+Solar charging seemed to work great!-Cheapest of the cheap construction. This thing weighs basically nothing.-Just stopped working over winter. I put it on the shelf at the end of summer, and when I grabbed it for the start of camping the next year, it was just dead.

I was disappointed in the overall cheap quality but hopeful that the lanterns would be o.k (I live in Costa Rica so returning a product is not easy & is costly). The on and off buttons are a little tempermental, it is necessary to hit it "just right." One of these lanterns has already stopped working with solar charge. It does work with regular batteries added but that is disappointing as the whole idea was not to have to use batteries which are expensive and have a short life in the conditions here in Costa Rica.

I do indeed love this little lantern.Multiple power/charging options: 3 AA batteries, top solar panel, internal rechargeable battery and does have a USB port for charging a cell phone for an emergency call. Exactly as advertised.Durable: I (almost immediately and unintentionally) dropped it 3 times. It does feel solid and sturdy for a small, portable LED lantern.It has an attractive glossy finish - very nice looking.I do indeed miss this little lantern. My daughter likes red and black and the lantern matches her stuff. So I had to purchase another (uglier) drab green portable LED lantern so dad can see in the dark and not have to visit the hospital.And, oh yes, it is very nicely bright as you would expect from a decent LED light source.
